Not thrilled! We went for lunch at 1:30, nothing was filled(&rice was dried out), 4 more tables came in & had lunch buffet & yet still only half the items were getting filled(literally half the containers were empty & stayed empty-this is a problem when they only have 8-10 items, we specifically wanted hot & spicy chicken-not one piece was available, just an empty container)& when they we're filled it was a competion to race for food with the other tables, I did not get one piece of meat, only dried rice & lo mein. Finally we asked if they would be replenishing the food...we were told no, the buffet closed at 2 & it was now 2:10....ummmm, so why werent they filled previously? What was the excuse then??? So our party of 7 paid to not eat, great! They knew i was upset, they knew we didnt get to eat, no effort to fix it. Would not go back, very poor customer service!! I could have accepted them telling us from the start they wouldnt be filling the buffet, order off the menu, i could have accepted no more food if they would have filled all the containers or put out enough so we weren't in competition with other tables, but they did not do that either. Every person in our family left hungry. We used to place $100+ orders with them at least once a month for the last 8/9 years(more often twice a month) because it was conveniently located close to home, no more. I am done!! We will be finding new & better asian takeout, i dont mind driving!!! Do yourself a favor & find someplace that cares about its long time...
Read moreDo not eat here. I'll save you the trouble-- it is not good. You will get food poisoning or salmonella for sure. My experience was actually a safety hazard in itself. I ordered sesame chicken and lo mein, along with beef sticks and a pork egg roll. I pulled my beef sticks out of my togo bag and they are grey... grey colored steak sticks. They smelled funky and looked extremely undercooked and unappetizing. I brushed it off and assumed it was just how beef sticks were-- I had never ordered them at any chinese place. I take my sesame chicken out and its overflowing with the sesame "sauce," which was just liquid.. no thick consistency to it at all. I drained it and then took a piece of chicken out. Bit into it and it is RAW. They served me RAW chicken and GREY steak sticks? I had eaten the egg roll before I saw the chicken, it tasted okay but now I am worried that something could have been wrong with that too. Who knows. I refuse to touch the Lo Mein because as far as I'm concerned all of my food is just a safety hazard. Luckily I placed the order through Doordash, so I got a partial refund. But still annoyed I had to waste even a little less than $20 on literally NOTHING. Disgusting. Somebody needs to shut...
Read moreI'm in and out of this place several times a week since the day they opened. They got great food for a good price and their combo platters are stellar. They have a large selection of combo entrees that come with rice and a spring roll (soup if you dine in). They also have a very small buffet at lunch time but a lot of the time it's enough. They have excellent low mein and strong hot-and-sour soup. Some of their dishes are prepared differently from other restaurants, but if you stick to the popular dishes like mongolian beef, coconut chicken/shrimp, sweet and sour chicken/pork, sesame chicken, general tso's chicken, lemon chicken, mu shu pork, etc. you shouldn't be disappointed.
For such a small hole in the wall they have a tremendous amount of business. Half of their profit's has got to be the carry out. You can phone ahead and pick it up or go in and order. They have never messed an order up or forgotten something in a carry out once. As stated below it has a nice cozy atmosphere, nice decor, and can be a great place to escape from the world and have a quiet meal or a great place for a date. The staff are very nice and are always paying attention to...
