This story may take the cake on all 1 star Dunkin Donut (Carl T Jones) Reviews. This morning at 8:25 en route to work I stop to get my medium hot coffee. I have been a frequent customer since this storefront opened its doors. I have seen the mixture of both lazy or energetic teens and then the WORST of them all, the burnt out service industry workers.
As I am pulling up to the drive thru. I observe the employee parking lot. There is only ONE car in this lot. The second observation is a black girl wearing her Dunkinā sweatshirt with NO head piece/microphone. She proceeded to head toward the āstaff onlyā back door into the building. I pull up to the speaker, naively, thinking this girl would do her job(that she applied for) and take my order. The automatic greeting comes on about having a mobile order. I respond ānoā and then proceed to say āhello!ā and wait for another 5 min. I watched 5 cars pile up behind me. I got so fed up with this storefront failing to be attentive I drove slowly past the drive thru window (didnāt see the girl at the register) and drive to the front of the store. The LIGHTS WERE OFF AND DOOR LOCKED. Now it is 8:30 A.M. !!!!!
Dunkin opens at 6 A.M. There should not have been one worker with the amount of volume this store receives. I can understand if the girl was poorly trained, everyone else called out or she didnāt know what to do. But this was 2 and a half hours AFTER they are open. Failure on her part to not do anything. Hereās a piece of advice for the young lady āinaction is not an action.ā Likely she will or already quit her job. Thatās what most all of the entitled teens do.
As I attach this photo, I would be remiss if I didnāt mention that all 5 cars behind me drove off as well. We were surely not the only ones! This privately owned franchise lost an astronomical amount of money. Mornings are their busiest rush!

Price: we wanted the price deduction of ordering a dozen and a 1/2 which she knew because we discussed it aaheadhof time BUT because 3 of the dozen were in a separate bag she wouldn't count them as a 1/2 dozen after a dozen special price??!! Service: when I went to pick up my coffee from the window no one knew what coffee was already sitting there? When I asked one of the 10 workers buzzing around behind the counter who was literally pouring a cup of coffee at the time she said "I don't know...I'm not working up front" what she didn't say was "tho I'm working the drive thru I DO work here!! Hang on I'll find out"!!! Then when the girl who took my order came over and said it was indeed my cup I carried it outside to a table. When I opened it it didn't have cream like I ordered...because it WASNT MY CUP OF COFFEE. My husband followed me out with my cup and said "you took the wrong cup." Product: my cup of coffee was double cupped which usually means it's piping hot but it was barely lukewarm! And the donuts were so stale I spit my bite out and brought the rest home hoping to revive it in the microwave. This is our neighborhood DD and we've had good experiences before but today was awful from beginning to end. We did get a good laugh because it was my birthday treat and everything that could go...

I simply asked if they were still out of frozen coffee per the sticker on the menu and the woman was so rude to me and was like "yeah that is why the sticker is there"....a simple yes or no would have worked! so rude and so unnecessary! Then when I got to the window to pick up the beverages, the hot drink was like cold milk and spilled down the side of the cup and not mixed together at all. All of the drink mixture was floating on top of the liquid. I sent it back and told them it was wrong and such a mess, I am not sure what they did to it, but they sent it back halfway mixed and it was still like cold milk....needless to say I won't be back to this location. We called the manager who acted like he was clueless and could care less...I will not be back to this location. I usually have great service here but there are far better places that I can go to purchase coffee. I will go to North Parkway or Starbucks or some other coffee shop who knows how to make drinks and be kind to customers. I didn't even drink the cold coffee, I just threw it out because I didn't trust that someone didn't spit in it or something since they were so careless and rude. If they hate their jobs that bad, then they need to go work some other place. But I did not deserve that and I...
