I will NEVER go to McDonald's again. I was trying to order a QPC and I couldn't do it in the app. I got a message saying it was unavailable at this location. I settled for a Bacon Mcdouble. Got to curbside 6:08 after 5mins I was thinking any min now. However another car pulled up the guy comes over and asked if I had ordered the QPC. I said no and he walked over to the car that just pulled up. He comes back with my order it's now 6:27. I ask how did that car get their order before me AND why am I having to sit in my car in this heat since 6:08. He apologized and said they are short staffed. At first he seems sincere then a girl comes over and grabs food outta his hand. She is like I'm trying to go. He is like wait I'm with a customer and I look up. The girl is in a car with others that have loud music playing she out in the parking lot twerking. I asked for a manager. After waiting another 6mins the manager comes out. I explained everything to her as well as not being able to order the QPC, loud music in the parking lot, waiting about 20mins for my food when someone else comes along and gets their food right away. She just shrugged her shoulders and said nothing she can do since they are short staffed. I told her that was bad customer service and unacceptable. This was not the first time this happened to me at McDonald's and I was told not to come around that time because they are busy. However I didn't see too many cars AND I asked what is the point of having curbside pickup. I told her a lot of other restaurants have numbers on the pole so we can call to say "hey I'm still waiting". She said not sure why it's there she said it was just something that was started during COVID but it's not useful. I look at her and say no you're not useful and I guess McDonald's doesn't want nor need my money as I...
Read moreIf I could give this McDonald's on North Memorial Parkway zero stars, I would. This was, without a doubt, the most humiliating and downright absurd fast food experience I’ve ever had.
After ordering my meal, I sat down and ate like any normal paying customer. Unfortunately, the food did not sit well with me, and I had to make a quick trip to the restroom. Due to a medical issue triggered by the meal, I was in the stall for approximately five to ten minutes when suddenly, the unthinkable happened—the manager, a woman, stormed into the men’s restroom, banged on the stall door, and demanded that I leave immediately. She then had the audacity to claim that Huntsville Police and medical services had been called.
At this point, I was in shock. Not only was my privacy violated in one of the most intrusive ways imaginable, but I was also being harassed while dealing with a legitimate medical issue—all because I had been in the restaurant for more than 30 minutes. I immediately got off the commode, called 911 myself, and guess what? The police had never been contacted. The manager had blatantly lied, using law enforcement as a scare tactic just to enforce some ridiculous time limit policy.
This is beyond unacceptable. It’s disgraceful. A restaurant that disrespects paying customers in such an invasive and dishonest way does not deserve anyone’s business. McDonald’s corporate needs to take action, and this location should be ashamed of itself. Avoid this place unless you want terrible food, aggressive management, and the risk of being falsely threatened with police action just for using...
Read moreWell, we got in the long, slow moving drive-thru line and eventually were able to order. In addition to a burger and fries, an apple fritter, and a cinnamon roll, we ordered 2 chocolate milkshakes, one large and one small. We rolled up to the first window and payed. Then we came to the second window to pick up our food. This is where the trouble started. We were first told that there were no apple fritters. So they agreed to substitute another cinnamon roll. Then we were informed that there were no chocolate milkshakes, so we said that we'd settle for strawberry. However, if we'd known that they had no chocolate shakes, I wouldn't have ordered any at all, but I'd already payed, so... Then, a few minutes later, we were told that there were no shakes to be had... period. Then, a few minutes after THAT, we were told that chocolate milkshakes were back on the menu. We were asked to pull ahead and told that they'd bring our shakes out to the car. So we waited, and waited,... and waited. Finally, just as I was about ready to forget the whole thing and go home, she brought out our shakes. By way of an apology, I suppose, she gave me a large instead of a small shake, and threw in a chocolate pie. That was a nice gesture. Overall, they were very...
