I wish I could have the option to choose zero stars. Pizza Hut off of Sam Houston Avenue in Huntsville, Texas is a place that I will never order again. I placed an online order at 4:33 PM today, paid for it and I got a waiting time of 60 min. After 90 min I started calling their location to get an estimate time of my delivery and to check if they received my order. I called about 40 times(it sounds a bit extreme) but the phone would ring once(after pressing 2 for order status) and it would ring 1-2 times then busy tone. Finally I decided to call one last time and I pressed 1 for placing a new order. Of course someone answered, but it was not from the location off of Sam Houston, it was someone taking orders from all locations of Pizza Hut. I asked the representative not to transfer me to the Sam Houston location because at that point I had been calling for an hour and no one answered. He did it anyway and told me that he would stay on the line until I get in touch with them. 12 min later, they hang up on me. I get dressed after 2 hours and 15 min of waiting and I go to their location. The manager tells me after placing an order online, I have to call the store to check if they received my order. I told him that I have been trying to call for the past hour but no answer. And this was it... the answer that I get from the lady that was working there, sitting right next to the manager:”We obviously are not answering the phone because we’re so busy”. No “I apologize”, no”I’m sorry”.. I told the manager I am just wanting my money back..At that point he said “Please let me make it up to you” and the lady said “Don’t you see she just wants her money back?”. Fantastic attitude coming from this woman. I told them if they thought that’s the right thing to say”We’re too busy to answer the phone”... Would it be okay at any other job to say that? I did not walk in the store with an aggressive attitude, being disrespectful or demanding, but I was treated like a burden, like I am a pain for asking for a service that I paid for, for a service that is being promoted by Pizza Hut and was never delivered. I have a sour taste in my mouth... I called customer service as well, and after 35 minutes of waiting, someone hangs up on me.. Pizza Hut, everyone understands that you are busy, trying to get so many orders ready, but choosing the people that work for you, should be a priority. All that we ask is that someone picks up the phone every once in a while, updates the site with “due to high volume call we cannot guarantee a specific delivery hour” or is respectful and considerate when us, customers, walk into...
Read moreI received a surrey from Pizza Hut with the question. "What can we do to receive a strongly agree next time?" I would like to actually get my pizza. I ordered at 11pm on the app for the Pizza Hut at 4030 Sam Houston Ave. Suite D, Huntsville, TX 77340. 1 full hour before closing time. It said expected arrival at 11:42pm. I never received my order. I have used Pizza Hut plenty before but it is one thing to not receive my order perfectly heated or right on time but I never even got it. Then when I called today. It just said the phone number was no longer valid. I honestly don't know what to think but I can't just overlook a $30 order going missing. Sorry but its gonna have to be a 1 out of 5 on this review guys n gals
Update: went down to the Pizza Hut and had a chat with them. Turns out it was an issue with the Pizza Hut app and they never recieved my order. I checked my bank account and my money was returned since the order didn't go through. I moved it up to a 3 put of 5 for them helping me figure out what happened. I ordered my food and about 15 min later I'm eating pizza :) I'm sorry I doubted you Pizza Hut....
Read morePut in an order for 1 single pizza in the app for contactless curbside pickup. Followed instructions and called the store when I arrived and got sent to a generic call center who then redirected me to the location itself when I said I was picking up an order. The phone to the store rang for about 2 minutes and I tried calling back only to have the same thing happen.
Decided to go inside at the time of pickup since we were unable to get in contact with the store. They said our pizza was just now going in the oven and it would be another 15-20 minutes. They said they would bring the order right out when it was ready.
After waiting 20 minutes we decided to go inside once again to pickup our order. The order was sitting in the warmer for who knows how long before we went back inside. We noticed the employee who told us he was going to bring the order out leave the store 10 minutes prior to us returning.
Pizza was still warm from being in the oven but was very greasy and fell apart easily.
