Tropical Sno Huntsville — Restaurant in Huntsville

I attempted to go by the Meridianville location Friday which was closed. They have NO LIST OF WORKING HOURS. I finally found a number for the Meridianville location and called to verify that they were actually open per the hours posted online for the location which was 12-8 Saturday and 12-6 Sunday. The lady who answered was very short and rude. She made it very clear that off site bookings were more lucrative for the two people who are operating the Meridianville location and have very little interest in serving the community their location is. Hopefully whoever is allowing them to leave a non serviceable booth in the parking lot will consider increasing the amount they are charging them for advertising or if whoever is responsible for the parking lot will consider the profit on a business wasting space for advertising VS the disappointment of the people in the community who attempt to support a business that’s using a bait and switch tactic for advertising. Unless you are going to book their services for an off site event they have absolutely no intention of being available to anyone in the community they have chosen to take up space. Their sole intention is to use the visibility of their closed business in proximity to Highway 231-431 and misleading customers of the other businesses close by who are actually servicing the local community with delicious food and great service (Biscuit Express is...

Truly hate to post a not so positive review, but these cones are no good compared to the “old”. And by old, I mean the previous owners from 1+ season ago. Last season, each of the 3 times I visited the cones got more and more disappointing. For one, a small is shaped just above the fill line. This small is smaller than the old Large size, under the previous owners. The syrup taste off brand. Not bad but not great. One time it wasn’t even edible. So we tried again on opening day and was dissatisfied to experience the super small cones and just okay syrup. They do give lots of syrup (a plus), are friendly, and work through the lines quickly. Sorry to say these things but we went from going 4x in one month in previous seasons to 1x and not likely again this season (and only 3x last season).
