UPDATE2: Downgrading once again after seeing an employee walk in for his shift,.straight from his car, clocking in and going over directly to dole out fries without washing his hands. All in full view of the shift manager standing right there. That's nasty!
UPDATE: Just downgraded my rating today. We have been going consistently to this location for 3.months. we drive up there today during lunch and walked up to the door to find them locked. And other hiccups from this store solely a function of poor employee performance is once again eroding my respect for Wendys. If you are going to close the dining room, WHY CANT YOU PUT A DANG SIGN ON THE DOOR TELLING CUSTOMERS?? One more incident from this location and it will get the 1-starntreatment.
For YEARS, I have avoided Wendys because of very poor point-of-sale service. This place has completely reversed my opinion of Wendys. Its probably just this location but, they have this place working better than other places I have visited in the Hampton Cove area. There are always many people working inside. They are very attentive to the walk-up customers. In fact, last time I was there on Sunday, the store manager asked the counter person to nevermind the call in order, and attend to the customers in the store. Yeah, sometimes the orders are wrong, but they have corrected the orders expediently when I point out the error ..... nicely! The kids want to go to Wendy's often now because they love the food. Read moreI rarely eat fast food, but today, my wife wasn't feeling well. So, I thought I would grab a few cheeseburgers and keep her from having to worry about dinner. The service was fine, from the guy that took my order to the lady that took my card. I was astounded to find out that 5 basic, single patty cheeseburgers were over $30 bucks. Now, I get home and quickly realize the reason for that is partially because they slathered enough mayonnaise and ketchup on this pitiful looking burger to have literally served 3 more burgers. The meat was like cardboard... it was just horrible. not edible. So, I paid over $30 bucks for burgers that we gave to our dog. I could have gone to a restaurant and gotten 3, really good (and much larger) burgers for the same money.
Kudos Wendy's... you reminded me of why I never go to fast...
Read moreEvery time we go there, they get our order wrong. I went there last night because it was what my daughter asked for. I repeated the order 3 times to the woman taking the order and twice to the man at the window after he confirmed what they had in the system was not what I ordered. The line was quite long and I didn't want to hold up the line to check because I was HOPING after FIVE TIMES of repeating the order it would have been right...NOPE! Completely wrong again! Fries missing, wrong burgers and wrong drink! I was definitely charged for all of the stuff I ordered that didn't make it into the bag. To be honest, I'm just done even trying with Wendy's. Go to Arby's!! They have never gotten my meal wrong, they are polite, and the food...
