We went here because of the Hawaiian Bread French toast, and I got the cinnamon version. It was good, but very rich. I got the eggs and meats with it, and hash browns. The food was good. My hubby got Harvest Nut and Grain pancakes, always a favorite of mine, that aren't available at Denny's (*Update: Denny's now has some extremely good whole grain pancakes). Our waiter was really excellent. Very quick, friendly and attentive. The coffee mugs were really small. This was good and bad. We had to keep fixing our coffee, but then again, it stayed hot. Because, the waiter left a cute little insulated coffee carafe on the table. It was good because he didn't have to keep refilling the cups. They had half and half and also the flavored hazelnut type of half and half, so I was happy. The restaurant was full of people and was noisy. It was hard for us old people to hear. And the restroom was all the way on the other side, and you had to squeeze through part of the kitchen to get to it. It could have been cleaner. There was a line to pay at the door, which made it awkward getting out. This was about 10:30 or 11:00 a.m., and so maybe it would be less busy/noisy at a...
Read moreI went in to place a to go order and was ignored for nearly 10 minutes. A group came in speaking Spanish and were immediately seated. A family came in and when the waiter ignored me the man in the group pointed out that I was their first. He said something in Spanish to the kitchen and a woman came to the front and asked if she could help me. When I asked to place a to go order she took my order and my credit card. Although there was a register there she said she had to ring it up in the back. She brought my card back and said it would be ready in 10 minutes. I went outside to my car and returned 10 minutes later. I was again ignored as others all Hispanic, came in and were seated. Finally the woman who had taken my order, and seemingly the only English speaking employee, passed and saw me waiting. She immediately went to the open kitchen and picked up my order, which was now cold, and brought it to me. She was actually very nice and I appreciate that she was there, however I will not be eating there again, nor ordering from this IHOP as it seems to no longer be an American...
Read moreMy grandparents took me here for my birthday. They wanted me to have a nice experience, in an environment that did not sell alcohol. When we got there, we asked to have seating that was appropriate for two elderly people. They tried to put us in a booth seat, and we asked them to put it in regular chairs. When they took us to the table it was in a corner and it was very hard for my grandparents to get seated so they had to move to another seat, and when done so the waiter seemed very awkward about it. When we ordered our food it took roughly 45 minutes for the food to get to our table, and when it did the food was hard from the heat lamps because they did not serve it to us when it was done. I had ordered a cordon bleu, and by the time I got to me that raw spinach was wilted, and the ham was the consistency of thin leather. Overall, it was a very rough experience. Also, it didn't serve our salads until they had already given us our entrees. It was very unpleasant. I don't ever plan on going back to this IHOP, but I've heard that other IHOP's...
