WARNING-LONG REVIEW!!
Came here with a total of 9 people yesterday August 11th @7pm.. 4 adults, 5 children. My brother who arrived before myself and 4 of the children; paid in advance for everyone. When I finally arrived a few minutes after, I told the cashier guy we were with that group and he said we were good to go. As I am serving salad, I continuously hear the white girl up front telling the other employees we did not pay and we only paid for 4 adults. She kept talking over the counter loud enough for me to hear her and at first I didn't realize she was talking about us. I actually thought to myself "WOW, This girl is over there talking about her customers in front of customers (it was obvious she wanted me to hear.) So I go and get the receipt from my brother to double check and I see 4 adults and 5 children on the receipt. I come back to show her as she stood there staring us down unprofessionally asking me "What is this?" (playing dumb).. So I tell her to check my receipt and she tells me we only paid for 4 adults. I asked, so you do not see children on there? And she looks again.. She then says oh yea ok but the two teens count as adults.. Realizing this girl is clearly terrible at communicating anything, I grab my card and tell her to charge me the difference. NOT A PROBLEM!!
The boy who told me we were good to go apologizes to her and she proceeds with her unprofessionalism and audacity telling him it's ok, not your fault IT'S THEIRS..
As someone who managed and worked in the food industry for many years there were MANY red flags here and definitely needs to be addressed.. Please have the PROFESSIONALISM to speak to your customers like an adult instead of gossiping and staring people down the way you did. If someone is paying in advance for other people who have not arrived you could have asked the ages of the children. You could have addressed this when I came in and said we were with that group.. You could have handled this way better over a $9 difference that has now caused you a bad review.. We always order pick up from this location for our football teams but due to this girls rudeness we will be going to a different location. Easy as that!
Shout out to the lady cleaning tables though, she was very nice and outgoing. Pizza was good if fresh out but most of what they had on the bar was dry and cold. No desserts but the dry cinnamon...
Read moreUpdate Review So, the original review is below the line where we use to have a 5-star experience, that has changed. It's been a few weeks since we've visited our favorite location, passing up MANY to drive almost an hour from home. But, tonight 10/31/2020 - that changed. It was an entirely new staff and the warm, welcoming atmosphere - GONE!
The Manager was very dry, she seemed agitated, and when asked or spoken to about anything it was as if she was forcing herself to be courteous. There were no smiles, no thanks for coming - just dry! Out of an entire zombie staff there were only two employees that somewhat made up for everyone else by at least having professional tones.
Otherwise, it was just eating. We won't be returning sadly, but we appreciate the experience we had forever before this... Our experience is always exceptional! We used to stay maybe 5-10 miles away now, we're roughly an hour drive out and will still drive to this location. Although the pandemic has changed the dynamics, it's still a family oriented, warm, inviting...
Read moreCame to this place and thought u would get a good dinner, boy was I surprised! No one behind me but cashier was in a hurry. The salad was old and had other foods mixed with it from the salad bar which no one cared to remove. Not much selection on the pizza buffet. I asked a lady behind the pizza bar when the next sausage pizza was coming out? She replied, "oh we only do that as a special order, to which you need to fill out a paper at the end of the bar and we will get it for you. " I replied, wow, ok I will do that. We get the pizza and I ask the person who brought it for a spatula to get the pizza (pizza is hot mind you) he looked puzzled and replied, "um let me ask my manager what I can give you" you know he came back with a pair of tongs and stated his manager said this is the only thing we have. I'm supposed to burn my self in order to get a slice of pizza! Wow, ok!! Does the manager come to say anything? --- NO HE DOES NOT!!! UNBELIEVABLE! I WON'T BE COMING BACK, NOR WILL I...
