I had my wedding here in November. During the pre booking stage Connie was very nice and she answered all my important questions about bringing in food, alcohol, decorations, time of events such as rehearsal and time of entry the day of wedding and even gave me the number of a person who does the drapery for the place. My mom and sister were with me and heard what I heard. Connie stated that if no one had booked the day of the rehearsal that she would come in later so she could stay later like until 7:30pm. We spoke about this for about 8 months clarifying if anyone had booked etc. She told me that we would be able to get into the building the day of the wedding at 10. She was very nice and accommodating. I didn't like the rules about the food and alcohol but decided to book anyways because she had been so nice. Well the tune changed as soon as I put the deposit down. She was not very nice she even overcharged me ( I got the money back when I pointed it out) the person she referred me to for the drapery was awful and never returned my call after the initial call. The day of rehersal Connie was VERY rude and many of my wedding party stated that she was rude to them as well. I asked her questions that we had discussed prebooking and she acted like we had never spoken about them. Then she rushed us out of the place at 6:30 when she had previously told me we had until 7:30(preboooking). The day of the wedding she informed me that we could not get into the building until 2pm when the wedding began at 6 and I had alot of decorating to do which made it very difficult. The wedding turned out great and people loved my idea of the wedding but the struggle with the facility was real. The staff that was there the day of the wedding were very rude as well. There were a few guys there that were very nice. But I was highly disappointed on how the tables turned...
Read moreWe looked at a few venues in the area, and this venue was the best! We rented out all three ballrooms (which gave us access to the front lobby area as a bar/sign in room), and decided to save a little by working with one of their preferred caterers (Cristina's). Dana was our Sales & Marketing coordinator, and if you get her - you will fall in love. She's fantastic to work with, organized, upbeat, and everything went off without a hitch. This was my first event to coordinate for my office, and everyone had a blast! The staff worked with us to have old movies playing on their projectors, and we were able to have slides up announcing winners of prizes on a separate projector. The rooms are very clean and modern looking with high ceilings. If really wanting to impress your guest, splurge for the chandelier and "swoosh" (Just ask Dana - she'll know the term "swooshy thing" LOL). We'll be back next year for sure. Thanks NRH...
Read morePositive Experience Working with NRH Staff for the Empowering You Event We've hosted the Empowering You job, health, and education fair across various venues in Fort Worth over the years, but we found that this particular venue was the best option. We were able to rent out all three ballrooms, the terrace, and two senior rooms to accommodate the event. Our Sales & Marketing coordinator, Connie, and Event coordinator, Nicole, were both exceptional to work with. They kept everything organized and made sure that everything ran smoothly. As the coordinator for Unity Unlimited, this was my first time handling such an event, and they made it a wonderful experience! The rooms were spacious, modern, and clean, with high ceilings that added to the overall ambiance. We're certainly looking forward to collaborating with the NRH staff once again in the near future. Thank you for the...
