My food was at least 4 stars, and the drive thru speed was good, but the heavyset college age girl with black framed glasses named Maria should probably seek out a career where she doesn't have to interact with people and their idiosyncrasies. I don't enjoy being despised when I'm a paying customer with no ill will. I ordered. I pulled forward when able. She opened the window and said the dollar amount I gave her my card and she silently turned her back to me and let the window close. Then she opened the window, gave me my food and receipt and said, "Did you want soy sauce?"
"I'd like sweet & sour and chili sauce," I said. "Do you charge extra for sweet & sour?" My intention was to pay extra and get the amount I like.
Her response was that she turned away and let the window close.
Then she opened the window and silently passed me my food.
"Do you charge for sweet & sour," I asked.
"No, it's in the bag..." she said with a snotty sing song tone on the word "bag" that let me know she was displeased.
"Well, I wanted a little more than the standard amount."
Again she let the window shut as she turned away without responding verbally and with a slight eye roll. Then she came back and gave me my extra S&S and let the window close without saying anything. So I got served but she had let me know in no uncertain terms what a huge inconvenience I was. I feel like she intentionally put just a little bit in the cups to punish me for asking for more. And maybe they were pre-poured, but her attitude made me feel like that. I don't know if my crime was asking her to get me the sauce or if it was making her talk. I'm inclined to think it's because I dared to pose my question a second time. It's hard for me to call fast food 5 star but I really did enjoy my food. At QT, In & Out, and Chick-fil-A, & Whataburger they train employees to greet people warmly. Next time I want Panda I'll have to choose between driving further or risk messing up Maria's day again. I would hope to never have an employee like her representing...
Read moreI ordered the family pack that’s on special online for $20 but it would not go through saying the website was experiencing problems. I headed that way (about 20 from where I live) and explained to the drive thru person why was going on. She said to pull forward to the window and that she could help me. I guess they thought I was lying and made me show her the whole ordering process of how I was doing(which I didn’t mind). Then she called a guy over and they guy said it does that when there’s too many people ordering or the website is having problems. His response to helping me was try it again later online there was nothing he could there to give me the same price as they advertise online, after I told I had tried it for about three times! I asked to speak to his managers because they had helped me out last time with the same issue and he replied that he was the manager. His name was Hasan and was very rude as to how he handled the whole situation. I don’t understand how he was expecting me to just try it later until it worked!!He said that he didn’t have any keys or codes to change the price even though he was the manager and they done it before. I left and called the one on Denton and told them my issue of how the order wasn’t going through and she said she could do it for the $20 it advertised. I drove another 15 minutes out of my way to go over there and was helped through the drive through by a regular crew member or a shift leader with no problem on adjusting the pricing. I don’t get why the other guy said he couldn’t do it if he was the manager and they are supposed to be trained for these types of situations. I guess I know where I’ll be going from now on surely not to the one...
Read moreYeah it’s true don’t go doing lunch time. I’m not sure when their lunch hour hits and ends but at 2:55 PM the drive thru didn’t look busy and there were two cars ahead of me and by the time I pulled in they told me to hold on without a greeting (fail). I personally don’t care but you never know who’s going to pull into the drive thur so maybe it would behoove the staff to say a greeting before saying hold on. They told me it would take 15 minutes for the orange chicken which I don’t mind waiting. But there were like 4 cars waiting in the lot for food and it took them about 20 minutes to rush out to hand everyone’s order in and nevermind the cars but the amount of customers that had to wait. I mean this is all happening during COVID so I know their lobby was not busy. The female staffers are nice all the time I’ll give them that. Not trying to knock on this location because honestly if I were trying to be that way I would’ve wrote a review on their rude male staffer twice (the tall guy with the glasses) who has no sense of home training. I’m not sure how this location operates but maybe the managers need additional training. You should know when you get busy, what are your popular products that sales the most, how many customers you get, etc. There should be a system in place so that customers are not waiting at least half an hour for food. I get it’s not good to waste food and that product only has a certain lifespan when cooked and put on display. But come on you’re going to loose more money because people don’t like to wait that long...
