My bad experience with this place at 108 I-45 Hutchins TX, well mainly with the manager started a few weeks from today. Being a regular customer because McDonald's is what my kids wants like every other day. While in the drive-thru my wife and I ask the manager what age does you have to be to work here, asking for our son. The manager tells us age 16 and it was best to come in to do the application. So that's what I did, my son and I came in did the application, setup the interview everything very excited about everything because my has his food handler also. I took my son to the interview, not even two minutes my son come walking back saying the manager told him he had to be 18 to work there. I knew she was lying so I immediately googled the age you had to be to work at McDonald's and it says age 14, not to mention she already told my wife and I age 16. I called back up there to verify what she said and she tells me the same thing and I let her know that I know the hiring age and she repeated well this McDonald's is 18. Later the day I had my wife to call to see if she'll tell her the same thing, this is the catch my wife are Mexican, the manager are Mexican and every worker inside this McDonald's are also Mexican but my son are African America/ Black, so on the call with my wife, my wife asked what age do you have to be to work there, immediately the manager pause for seconds, then my wife asked two more times then she replied age 17 so my wife questioned her about our son being told 18 and confronted her about telling us age 16 in the drive-thru which my Mexican wife were sitting in the driver's seat so they really couldn't see me that point. Then the manager go on to say well the parents has to write a letter saying my son can work there after knowing we knew she was lying the whole time. When the manager realized that my son was black she refused him the job. I was determine not to spend any of my money at that McDonald's anymore, I don't spend money where we're not wanted. But my son and daughter beg and beg for a milkshake from McDonald's today so I gave in. My Son goes in asked for 2 medium milkshake, it was $7.15, my son only had $7.00 so he downgraded one to a small, the cashier say it's still $7.15, my son then downgraded both milkshakes to smalls, the cashier says again it's still $7.15, my son knowing it's BS they let him go with $7.00 which a small is $1.25 less than a medium, son tells me when he looked up the same manager was standing off to the side just smiling watching the whole thing, after she brought out the new young Mexican employee his new work shirt who looks even younger than my son. Read moreI drive 18 wheeler,room for 1 truck and big trailer by curb in back and 1 on side by drive thru if not seen some park at hotel next door,LOV MICKYD'S eat thier 2,3,4 or 5 times every week all over,TEX,OK,AR,LA, I use app loved from day1,set it up link my PayPal Easy,always good or great,always quick,I drive up, park, grab phone,open app,click order,what i normally order pops up click confirm,code pops up, get a thx from mcd..by email,walk in,my food is normally on counter or it's thier within 2 min.,many times thier r several people waiting that had ordered already, they always give me a look I just say that app is awesome,easy ,quick, feel like it's priority ( I got my best friend who don't trust auto pay,buying anything online, somehow he has no problem buying stuff on ticktock but it's a acc.with like 200 balance that he opened, It took me like 6 month to talk him in to putting his info in the app.and was the 1 that told to open a account just for phone,online,apps whatever and just put a few 100 s in at a time,like 2 years ago tried to explain to him every transaction is going over the web always have,anyway sorry he finally did started buy stuff on ticktock,put in the mcds. App and I didn't no,he pulled up mcds wiped out his phone and said order your favorite and 1 for dinner,thank me for pushing him for the bank acc.,app,shopping etc. Online and such ,he always didn't trust anything that might link his main acc.,been like 6 months,now he talks about the app how easy loves 2 3 clicks bam walk in drive thru. Quicker then before most the time loves the emails thanking him,asking how was your visit, have you tried this telling you about new stuff everything talks about mcds.all the time ,says MCDONALD'S has always been the leader In fast food, they were the first ,man thier the best,thier everywhere they got this market CORNERD....if we ever hit LOTTERY we are buying ALL the mcds we can FIRST thing then we're gonna sell our 18 wheelers and just enjoy life and eat...
Read moreIf you're waiting in line for 15 minutes and they ask you to pull to the front PLEASE DONT! We asked how long the wait would be and the kid slammed the window in my husband's face. Long story short, we waited at least 30 minutes for French fries as retaliation. The manager didnt apologize and we both had attitudes. There was no help and he wouldn't provide me with the owners phone number. The owner has multiple establishments in Hutchins and his employees sometimes really lack accountability. For the record, I believe its important that you give good customer service to the customers you have. We go by this location once or twice a week to get french's fries as a treat for the kids, but we eat a plant based diet. I really hope people continue to leave places like this alone. We will just get their fries from the Jack In the Box across the street. They are ALWAYS QUICK...
