Do yourself a favor and go to a place that's serves "real" Mexican food. The food is mediocre and feels like an immation Mexican restaurant that caters to people that haven't ventured away far from home. Tacos were served inside aluminum foil. Why, who does that, if they're cooked fresh then why not serve them on the plate? Of course the tortilla fell apart. Btw, the corn tortilla i asked for was clearly warmed up in a microwave and not on a comale or pan. Real tacos y default are served on corn tortilla with cilantro and onions typically with steak, not ground beef, hard shell with mozzarella and lettuce. Beans and rice seemed like they were also reheated in a microwave. The service was decent though. Atmosphere is warm and comfortable. The best part of the meal were the chips and red salsa. Idk what the white creamy sauce is. My grandparents are from Mexico and I live in Chciago. I wasn't expecting a 5 star meal but come on, I would've been better off getting tacos from a taco truck in a random parking lot. Hell, Chipotle or taco bell would've been better and that's...
Read moreThe food is good so I wanted this place to be the spot my son and his family to meet up occasionally. Yesterday, there was a woman allowing her children to screech and run around so much that I finally told the girls that we were having trouble hearing each other, could they sit down? The mom tells them they can run around, just stay away from "her" really snotty. I ignored it and we continued our visit. The woman then stands up and in the middle of the restaurant starts telling me that I had no right to speak to the girls and that they were Pablo's girls and he allows them to play. She created a scene.. Wow! She then walked up to Pablo and it suddenly took another 10 minutes to get the salsa requested. Honestly my son was worried they'd spit in our food because the woman was so unhinged! I assured him they wouldn't do that. There was absolutely no acknowledgement from Pablo about her behavior! We won't be back if this is how customers...
Read moreLike most Mexican restaurants, they bring you chips and salsa. I like that here the chips were warm and the salsa tasted fresh, they even offered more salsa and chips. I have had other restaurants be stingy on the chips and salsa. Plus they have a really good "white, no queso" dip that is very enjoyable. Our food was slow, but I guess they were short staffed in the kitchen and I was fine waiting. At least they told me - some places don't say anything. I had the chicken fajitas and ate all 3 shells and took the rest home and had three more! So good portions! Food was good to above average. I say that because I've sadly had Mexican restaurants serve terrible re-fried beans, and these beans (my side) were good. Next time I'm in the area I'd go again. (was this helpful? give me a...
