Jimmy's Famous Burgers - Hyde Park/Bronzeville — Restaurant in Hyde Park Township

I go in to order the 3 tacos which I really like, this post is not about taste or quality of food. However, when I placed my order my daughter asked if one taco could be with only cheese and sour cream. Cashier puts it in, its even on the receipt for the one taco. Get home all tacos are the same, so I called without an attitude just to report that. 1. I asked for a manager, that didnt happen. 2. It was the same lady who took my order, she wants me to come back so they can fix my order, not going to happen but thought it was nice. I stated I just wanted to report that my order was messed up. Her response-"Ok, what do you want us to do? we dont modify food!" with an attitude after stating I was just reporting. 3. I find it really strange they dont modify food after I personally asked this while ordering and was not told they do not modify food. So I feel like Im being played with, I ordered with no problem then all of the sudden changes and policies come out later on. I...

I hate to do this because in all honesty, the food is fantastic Ive never been disappointed but my treatment as a customer has been very poor.

The first time I came there, I didnt get the cookies I paid for, the second time I had a bus to catch, and I was told it would take 10 minutes, but it took twenty, and almost had to leave my order behind or miss the bus, and just tonight I THOUGHT I ordered the burger meal online for pick up, only to discover that I paid $16.88 for JUST the burger! And when I confronted the cashier he was at a loss but but made zero effort to rectify my paying so much, no fries, no drink, just an weak apology and "next time it would be better to just come in and order it."

I dont know if I can come back, even though I love the food and the place is always. But they seem to have no interest in resolving customer issues, especially if youve already...

If I could have given no stars I would have. I will NOT be ordering from this place again. I purchased their Nashville hot sandwich through the delivery service DoorDash and it took an hour longer than stated for the dasher to receive my order. When it arrived, it was not the Nashville hot sandwich. It was a regular chicken sandwich with coleslaw slapped on top of regular chicken tenders. The sandwich was sloppy and wasn’t even good at all. The food also arrived cold, the fries were stale and my frozen lemonade was pure liquid. I know for sure it was not the dashers fault because I tracked their ride all the way to my house and they came immediately after receiving the food from the restaurant. Took them 10 minutes to get to my house so how in the world was the food cold??? Because it was given to them cold. I would NOT recommend this...
