OMG, I ordered the twenty-dollar bucket and received mac and cheese instead of fries, even though I'm lactose intolerant. The chicken was hard, old, and overcooked. I requested both original and crispy, but honestly, I can't tell what they put in the KFC box. I'm sure the Colonel is turning over in his graveâthis meal did not represent the KFC brand. The biscuits were also underdone!
When I called KFC and asked for the manager, the man who answered put me on hold, and I could hear them serving others while I waited. Eventually, I decided to return to KFC for a refund, and I could hear myself complaining through the phone.
I jumped in my car and returned the food. When I arrived, the man asked what was wrong with the meal and insinuated that I bought it the day before. Really? I had just purchased it 15 minutes ago! I even saw him through the drive-through window. He was unprofessional and had no customer service etiquette whatsoever. The chicken looked so old that he assumed it was bought the day before!
Ms. Sharon Whitaker, if meals are being cooked like that and management keeps customers on hold without addressing concerns professionally, that is bad business. You don't deserve a star for this experience. I had to post about it.
To add to the frustration, my vehicle was towed from an almost empty lot, with claims that I was using it as my private...
Read moreThe cashier asked us what can I get you. Since we hadn't decided what we wanted, we stood back from the counter. When we settled on what we wanted, I went to the counter to place an order. I told him I wanted K2 and K6 and then I said for here. He asked me to repeat myself so I said it again a little louder. He responded you talk too damn low. I asked him to repeat it and he lied and said he didn't say anything but put the cups on the counter. I pushed the cups away and began to walk out. As we were leaving, he said something else. I turned and asked if there was a manager. A woman at the drive thru window walked up to me and asked what happened and I told her. At this time there cashier began loud talking me, denying he said anything and drawing other patrons into the matter. He called me a liar and continued denying his previous remarks. I asked if this is the type of customer service people should expect when patronizing KFC. The woman never responded to me and instead took the cashier to the rear of the restaurant. Another woman appeared but never spoke. Another cashier appeared and asked if I wanted the food previously ordered. I declined and left the restaurant. I've visited this restaurant many times in the past , always receiving good service and good food. It is sad that customer service is no longer the norm but...
Read moreI saw the poster for the new crispy chicken sandwich, it looked good so I went in to try one. As soon as I received it, I opened the bag so steam from heat wouldn't ruin the crunch on the chicken. I only had to walk to the car in the parking lot. I took a bite immediately and discovered that there was NO CRUNCH but it was definitely fried chicken. I took a bite of chicken from another part of the sandwich and NOPE, no crunch. It didn't taste bad, I just missed the crunch, I bet it's amazing with the crunch.. That's the whole fun of eating something that is not healthy like fried food ...you want that crunch. All I could think about was how nice and crunchy POPEYES chicken sandwich is lol. I don't eat fried food often, quite rarely actually, but when I do, I want it to be crunchy like crispy chicken is advertised to be. They must warm it in a holding station or something, idk but that's what it tasted like. I'll try it again, another time, in a different location, not in the "hood" and if the prep area floors are loaded with debris and the prep counters look chaotic ...I'll know to walk out because that's what I should've done here when I noticed the floor back there by the drive thru register area and all up front near the front counter in the visibility eyeline of a customer standing at the...
