Last Thursday, 6-19-14 was the worst experienced I've had from a fast food establishment. I go to the dirve-thru around 10:30 p.m., this one has two lanes for orders, I'm on the outter one, I literally sat there a good 10 minutes and not one time was I asked my order but while I am sitting there whoever wearing the headset chimed in and out and all I could hear is a lot of laughing and profanity, it sounded like they were having their own comedy fest with Kat Williams or somebody. Now on the other side the others are being taken, so I politely get out of line and go around and get back in line wait another 10 minutes to have my order taken I ask for a 10 piece chicken mcnugget meal well done meaning fresh. I ask the girl if orders are being taken in the other lane she says yeah, I say well you guys have a whole line waiting, she says oh ok. (SAD!!!) Now mind you I've come hear before, the only thing I eat are the nuggets and always ask for fresh never has it been a problem. I get hard stale smelly nuggets so I go around the block get back in line and wait my turn and tell them about these nuggets. The guy says oh you can give them back at the window. I make it to the first window and the girl says, oh you're returning something? I say yes she says, go to the next window. ok no problem. I get up there and I wait, I wait, and I wait. I see the employees constantly walking out into the lobby and finally a guy comes and says you're waiting for the nuggets, I say yes, He says ok they should be coming up. Finally the same guy opens the window and sticks out a box of nuggets and asks me to try these they should be ok. I asked what do you mean they didn't drop some fresh ones, he says yes I think they did...not only did that freak me out but he didn't put them in a bag, he didn't offer to replace my now cold fries!! I took that food and threw it all in the garbage! The customer service at this place is terrible, I will never ever go back there and I will tell everybody I know about this place! I complained with corporate, the guy was very nice, claim I will be hearing from somebody from this location, haven't happened yet, not that I am surprised and I was offered a free 6 piece mcnugget...What a joke! I don't know if it's just me but just about every mcdonald's that I have gone too in Bronzeville is TERRIBLE!! Makes me wonder if they are all owned by the same person or what. I don't know but the this one, the one on 47th and cottage grove and the one on 35th and Indiana...stay away...

I ordered a hamburger value meal (Essentially a 2-cheeseburger value meal without the cheese). I ordered it with only mustard. I understand that "special" orders should take a little longer so I didn't mind waiting a little. The problem is, when I ate the 1st cheeseburger while I was driving home,, the burger had very little mustard. The mustard would have helped because the meat was very bland. When I got home I went to heat up the second burger and noticed that it also had VERY little mustard and it also had cheese on it. The sticker on the wrapper clearly read, "Only mustard" and "NO CHEESE". Obviously the person taking the order knew it was a special order but just took a cheeseburger before adding the condiments and just added (barely) mustard to it. How can I come back and return it when I noticed the error? I live 10 miles away. When I say error I really mean laziness and poor attention to work. The only reason I'm giving the rating of 2 stars instead of 1 is because the person taking my order was very professional and courteous. The person taking my order obviously put the order in correctly. My problem is with the staff that just took a shortcut because they didn't want to "cook" a burger with no cheese). My gosh it's not like the cheese was even melted. They could have just taken it off the bun before (barely) adding the mustard. I know times are tough but this is just an example of workers just being lazy and who do not take any pride...
Read moreA woman with glasses appeared to be a supervisor who was hollering at the young lady passing the food out at the second window. It took way too long to receive my food. I then asked for my receipt, and that also was a long process. I don't understand why I couldn't receive my receipt when I gave the cashier my money. I was told to ask for a receipt upon receiving my food. So I am not a big fan of McDonald's in the first place, but after this interaction, I spent $7.84 for 2 small items and made it late for work. It just reiterated the reason as to why I am not a fan. Not to mention, it was extremely high in price.
I just realized that I thought I had posted this probably a year or so ago, but I didn't. Now, here we are today, and I was coming to review today's episode of McDonald's, and here we have it, the same lady with glasses. I learned she is the manager, and her name is Vanessa, who was extremely rude to me this morning. Probably because of a computer glitch with a reward code. (No fault of the young lady that helped me). Vanessa needs to be dealt with, I called corporate and am waiting to hear back. But because of Ms. Vanessa McDonald's lost out on close to $ 60.00- $100.00 this morning because I was buying my team breakfast, drinks, sides, the whole shebang! Vanessa needs to do better and lose the animations, such as hand and neck movements, while talking to customers and employees.
