Chef Prep of Pimento Nyam's food is beyond delicious. My favorite is his jerk bowls. It is NOT your usual jerk meal. The combination of flavors that he presents in his "bowls" delivers and outstanding taste explosion to your taste buds. I can honestly say, I've never tasted this delicious combination before. I do not usually give reviews, and I certainly am not easy to please. (May as well admit it since everybody knows it! Lol!) I was at the soft opening for this spot and have returned a few times.

Food was fantastic! Big portions, perfectly seasoned, chicken smoked all the way through, plantains a little crunchy outside, moist inside. The vibe at the opening in Boxville Marketplace was quite chill. It is like a picturesque art sanctuary in the hood.

Don’t mind the look my bowl slid while I was trying to eat and drive.. lol. I came across this spot on TikTok and decided to drive all the way from Indiana to try them out and was so glad I did. The ppl were friendly and the food was the bomb. The whole atmosphere was a nice vibe. I had the jerk chicken and shrimp bowl with everything and a mango pineapple lemonade.
