Red Snapper Hyde Park — Restaurant in Hyde Park Township

It's unfortunate to have a restaurant like this taking up space in Hyde Park where other restaurants with higher standards would flourish. I've ordered from here 3x and all of them have resulted in a negative experience in one way or another, at this point I blame myself for expecting anything different that 3rd time. Not inly was the food mediocre at best, the service was an embarrassment. I ordered for pick up and that it would be ready in 15m. I showed up 30min after I ordered and while standing in line behind 4 other people all of them looking annoyed, the cashiers girls are laughing and playing around with another customer for 4min. Finally I ask how much longer until my food is ready, it' been 35min and they looked at me as though thy had no idea what I was talking about. I gave them my name and order number and then they began looking around only to find that my food had been sitting RIGHT INFRONT OF THEM for 15min-20min, while they were joking and flirting with another customer. I don't have high expectations of professionalism from high school girls but they definitely need a manager in there to make sure that the job is actually being done and that customers aren't treated as though they are asking for an inconvenient favor when thy...

This is the worst food establishment I’ve ever encountered over the counter and delivery. I order a large gizzard dinner with mild sauce on it and lemon pepper and extra mild sauce on the side. I also ordered and liter pop with banana pudding. The dinner had only lemon pepper and extra lemon pepper at that and no mild sauce to go with it. They also gave me no napkins or spoon/fork to eat my pudding with. On top of all of that, it took the order almost 45mins to an hour to be delivered to me. The food was cold and dry. Last the delivery guy had the worst customer service that I’ve ever encountered. I highly recommend that you get you food from anywhere else but there. I wish there was a 0 stars button because that’s what this establishment would have received. PLEASE EVERYONE, SAVE YOUR MONEY BUY NOT SPENDING IT WITH RED SNAPPER ON 53rd and Dorchester. Just awful. My family and order here every now and again. We mainly like the fish, and the other dishes that we've ordered were okay as well. The only problem that I have is the customer service. The girl who always answers the phone is always rude and it seems as if I'm bothering her when I call to place an order. She also makes me feel like she's rushing me when I'm placing an order. One of the things that bothers me the most is that she never confirms my address for deliver. I asked her one time to confirm the address where my food was going to be delivered to, and she told me that she didn't have to; with an attitude might I add! OMG...What if I was at a different location or if my phone number changed?! If it wasn't for my husband liking this place, I'd never order here again. Customer service plays a huge role in a business' clientele and their customer service will definitely run...
