This DQ is fine but a prepubescent teenager who works there made this a bad experience. My wife and I pulled up to the drive thru to get food (as one does). A sweet womanâs voice greeted us and ask for our order. We needed a second to think about it so we ask for the time and she said âof course just let me know when you are ready. We discussed for about 1 minute when an aggressive childâs voice ask âCan I help you find something?â We said not yet. We decided pretty fast after that. We gave our order and had a coupon for a 4 pc chicken basket. We also added a drink because they asked if we wanted to. When we pull up to the window the nice woman took our card and coupon. She opened the window and let us know that with the beverage the coupon doesnât work. So we ask if she could take it off and put a drink on separate. She said yes. The next person to open the window was a kid in a grey sweatshirt with black apron. He had dirty blonde hair and was very passive aggressive and rude. He repeated the same thing the girl told us in a belittling voice hold ing the coupon with both hands as if to present the coupon and tell teach 5 year olds about it. We repeated our request and he said âWe would have to delete the orderâ. He repeated himself twice and stared blankly at us like we were dumb. We said okay canât you just delete it and redo it? He said let me check. Then the child did what we asked kind of. He took away the drink completely and did not add it back. He gave us the food and the drink for the other meal we ordered but when we asked about the drink with the coupon he said âNo we took it off because it doesnât work with the couponâ very passive aggressive and annoyed at us. At this point we were so annoyed that we said whatever and just left with what we had. They gave us the Pepsi that was supposed to go with the chicken and not the Root Beer that was actually on the recipe. We went to this DQ on March 12th around 6:45-7pm. This kid was disrespectful and deserves a stern talking to for his manners towards the customers. Also the food was bland. The fries had no salt and were cold. The burger was burnt on the ends. The chicken and ranch were okay though. I miss my Root Beer. The fact that this kid was talking down to my wife made...
Read moreEdit Since I made this review the manager reached out to me and apologized for the wait time and miscommunication about the to go order and having to come inside. They have been having a lot of turnover lately, so it has been a struggle to keep employees. He mentioned that he will address and work on the issues I stated with his staff. **
I don't normally write reviews, but this has been a consistent issue. While the food and ice cream are good. The restaurant is basically ran by what I can only describe as is slow and confused teenagers. The drive thru takes a LONG time to get through, and it's not because of the length of the line. The last time I ordered I placed a to go order and went through the drive thru. I pre ordered cheese curds and used the $0.85 deal for a fall blizzard. My husband decided last minute that he also wanted a blizzard, so he made a separate order at the speaker and said that he was also here to pickup my mobile order. The employee said that I would have to come inside to get my mobile order and that they couldn't give it to me out of the drive thru window. So I went inside while my husband stayed in line at the drive thru. The front of the house had 3 kids working. 1 was at the drive thru window, and 2 were up front. They said they would be with me in a moment. They proceeded to make 5 more blizzards, very slowly, and looking very confused like they hadn't worked there long.. It took 15 minutes before they spoke to me again. I got my order and went out to my husband to find he was still in the same place in line that I left him. It took about 30 minutes total to get our things and there was only 3 cars ahead of us. This isn't an isolated issue... we have tried to come several other times and it just takes an extremely long amount of time to get anything. The staff is always nice and the food is always good... I just think that the staff doesn't know what's going on most of the time and gets too overwhelmed (as a lot of teens do). My husband doesn't want to go back because we are tired of the length of time it takes to get anything.. AND I had a pickup order, it makes no sense why they made me come all the way inside when they could have handed it to us through the drive thru while we also got my...
Read moreOkay I normally donât write reviews for places but this is freaking ridiculous. This Dairy Queen sucks 99% of the time and is awesome 1% of the time. Iâm always hopeful for that 1% the few times I decide to try again but I most likely will never go back. Every. Single. Time. I go, it is DISGUSTING and the kids that run the place are little brats. Sorry to be so blunt and rude but Iâm sick of this place. This town doesnât have very good restaurants and Dairy Queen is obviously top 3. I asked for the Strawberry Mountain Dew (like I do every time. I know they have it) and the order taker, a girl, very aggressively yelled that we donât have it over the speaker to me. Obviously yes they do, she must be new or something. So that was annoying, like why be rude? Itâs not that hard. I would know. I was a manager in fast food and have worked in them before. Kindness isnât hard. Honestly, the food was pretty good, surprisingly. Which is why I give 2 stars instead of 1. I got a peanut buster parfait because it is a childhood staple, and got a PIECE OF WOOD MIXED IN WITH THE PEANUTS! I literally almost broke my tooth, it actually still hurts as I am writing this review. The picture doesnât do a justice but it is very obviously wood. Itâs not a burnt peanut or a fossilized one or whatever you may think. I also went through the scenarios because I love the peanut buster parfaitsâŚbut nope. WOOD!! Absolutely disgusting and horrific! Like do they not have quality checks to check products? Ridiculous. So not only does my tooth still hurt, but my FAVORITE ice cream is now inedible. Nothing they can do to redeem themselves after crushing my inner child who just wanted some ice cream after a long day of work and school. This is so incredibly frustrating. I wonât drive all the way back to the location just for the managers or crew to gaslight me into saying I put it there or just âoh that sucks.â Ugh! If you value your standards (and dental health apparently) donât go here. Not worth that 1%, go somewhere else. Even McDonaldâs is better than this. Come on people. đ¤Śđťââď¸đĄ This happened...
