Daylight Donuts — Restaurant in Idaho Falls

I was craving a donut like a pregnant lady pursuing a pickle fix this morning. You wouldn’t think this would be a challenge but with the endless construction on 17th, it was proving to be the holy grail quest of the decade. After following a few leads that only lead to despair, the sign for this cute shop appeared out of my carb deprived haze. Oh my goodness they did not disappoint. I have to admit I barely tasted the cream filled chocolate donut I ate first but I’m sure it was as delicious as the old fashioned glazed that followed directly after. It was a win. Stopped in here this morning, as my local favorite donut shop is closed. Upon entry there was a small case of donuts with a decent variety- nothing too fancy mind you, but there was some variety. I picked 5 random donuts and went to the register. Over $15 for 5 donuts!!! These donuts weren't worth that at all. I would say they are more like a Albertsons donut but at 5 times the cost. If they had been delectable, might not have been so worried about the cost but they most certainly aren't anything to...

Not the best donut place in town; to me they're comparable to any donut from a supermarket-- only possibly better if you grab them first thing in the morning when they're warm and fresh. I recommend Googling "Best donuts Idaho Falls" & choosing this place! The only thing this donut shop has on any other bakery is that it opens the earliest, 5:00 am.
