Elevate Bake Shop — Restaurant in Idaho Falls

I would have given this a 4 star rating the first time I went in, but the second time same waitress, the waitress seemed bipolar and was condescending and made me have a medical issue of a low blood of 40! She has the audacity to complain to me that some people come in and just sit for hours and don't order anything! I told her I just needed to put my stuff down and I was waiting for a friend to arrive , this was all said as soon as I walked in the door hadn't even reached a table yet! And I told her when friend arrives and we'd order something. She then complained to me more and questioned well when is your friend arriving!?.... I then went to sit my stuff down at a table and take my blood sugar levels to see what I'm allowed to eat and not eat and what injection of a shot I must take, but sadly because of your rudeness and attacks towards me I was forced to just order right away, and they don't have nutrition facts, so I had to guess the carbs under her duress and had extremely dangerous low blood sugar because of this demeaning and rude waitress. Not to mention I saw 20 other people walk in with kids, not order anything she did NOT COMPLAIN or attack them and actually smiled and talked to them and laughed!!! They ordered nothing and asked her to sign the Waldo paper hunt! I couldn't believe this type of service. This was my favorite place I invited friends to because of the painting and now I will not bring them here! How rude! I will now tell people not to go here.i forgot to mention even when I ordered, I asked for hot sauce or ketchup and she had the audacity then claim to me someone stole it! Then she looked at me like I stole it. As I sat down and got sicker and sicker I didn't hear her complain about people stealing stuff to other customers! I think she was jealous of me for some reason. I'm not sure why she wanted to attack me so bad. Very poor...

The pasties from Elevate Bake Shop are made from scratch with care and a level of excellence not typically found in a town like IF (I have only found breads like these in Seattle, San Francisco, and other metro areas). This is hands down the BEST artisan bread you will find in this part of the state. Their hand pies, pot, pies, and fruit pies are amazing -- full of fresh, high-quality, mouth-watering deliciousness wrapped in a crispy, flaky, tender crust. This place really captures the essence of a small town bakery, but with the quality of a big city bakery! The interior is cozy and well-decorated, but most of all it looked very clean. Absolutely every pastry in the case looked spectacular, and all the ones I tried were well worth the price they charged. If you're looking for lovely viennoiserie in Idaho Falls then look no further! The gal at the register said they make everything from scratch, and I totally believe it! Everything tasted so good, and the danish had actual raspberry jam in it, not the pre-packaged nonsense that you'll find everywhere else in town. No other bakery in town holds a candle to the quality of this place, so I'll definitely be coming back. Possibly on a daily basis if I can't...
