I took my dad and my husband and my son out to dinner last night to Smoky Mountain on Parkcenter ,it was by far the worst dining experience I have ever had in my life and this is not an over exaggeration. I can honestly say I will NEVER eat at that Smokey mountain's off park center again! Bad service, terrible food, and the place was dirty. Not to mention everyone working didn't really seem to know how to do there jobs. Except the hostess at the front! The appetizers came out and they were good I'll tell you that, but when it came to ordering our entrees they brought out my son's my husband's and mine and didn't bring out my dad's for another 15 minutes. Our waiter came out with a plate of food that he did not order he set it down in front of my dad and said well it's not what you ordered but it's free, and it's hot my dad looked confused because he wanted what he ordered he's on a strict diet and he had picked that on the menu because he could eat it we asked the waiter why my dad's food wasn't coming out the waiter looked confused like we should have been more appreciative about the food he did bring him. He said I don't know what's going on in the kitchen I don't know I just don't know what's going on we have a party of 40 and we just can't handle it. I told the waiter that's not our problem we are paying customers and we expect to have good service as well. The waiter said basically immediately oh you know what your whole meals comped it's fine it's all free as if thats what we wanted! No we are not trying to get free food and that was not the case at all we are paying customers. We were more than happy to pay for the meal we just wanted it to be as satisfying as we thought it would be. The waiter wouldn't leave he kept lingering at the table staring at my dad telling him I can tell you're still not happy... um no we're not going to be happy. When he didnt get what he ordered. My calzone that I ordered was freezing cold my husband put his finger in it and then told the waiter to and the waiter even agreed that it was cold. It wasn't even what I had ordered inside the calzone, but i was already too irritated to tell him. So the waiter said that he would have another calzone made and I asked him if he could just put it in a box so we could take it home because I was getting frustrated and not even a minute later the waiter comes back out with my dad's dish that he had originally ordered. We asked the waiter if we could just please speak to the manager the waiter looked at us like oh you want me to go get the manager yeah sure well know I can't because I'm the manager. I hardly believe he was the manager and if he is he's exactly what is wrong with that place he looked at us and said I shouldn't even be serving tables this isn't my job towards the end I asked the waiter to break a $100 bill for me because I felt bad that the whole dinner was comped even though we were very unhappy with the food and the service I still thought that I should leave him a tip they told me they couldn't break a hundred and then I said to them oh well I was going to leave him a tip but I guess I can't now I only have a hundred not even a minute later they come running over with change I give him a 5 he walks away with his head and doesn't say a word almost unappreciative that it wasn't more. We get home and I try to eat the calzone that had been remade it was not edible at all it was disgusting it was worse than the first time I had to throw it away but that wasn't the cherry on top my son who is 2 years old ended up getting food poisoning I was up all night with him he was violently throwing up and after he got all of that out of his stomach he was just fine he was happy baby again so I know that it has to do with the food he ate at that restaurant the owner or the manager seriously need to do something about that place it is disgusting! If I was the owner I would be so embarrassed that those people are representing my company. I'd fire almost everyone and clean house!
Oh and thank you for the same generic apology you send...

I live near Park Center now and have gone in a few times to eat at approximately 2-3 pm to avoid crowds and I noted a long wait for my food each time. It was plausible that non-peak hours have less servers working so slightly understandable.
This evening, I ordered for delivery and was told 45 minutes to an hour. At one hour and 45 minutes, I called where I was told they 'weren't busy so there was no reason my order should be late' and I was put on hold so the individual could contact the driver. The driver showed up at my door a few seconds later. As I received my food, I said I was waiting one hour and 45 minutes to where I was just told, "I am sorry." I gave a 20% tip and would have gave 25% to 30% had she cared at all and tried to explain or something. I told the person on the phone I got my order and they just said they were sorry too and hung up. My order of grilled salmon pasta and spinach artichoke was cold, soggy and was missing the pico de gallo too.
I have been reading through these reviews and where people have had discrepancies costing them time and money, it seems the answer form the establishment is just an apology. Really?!? Where is the compensation for what we lose? Prices have gone up and quality down. I am over it...leave it, because the misses outweigh the hits. Thanks for the lesson. I'll put some effort into making my own grilled salmon pasta from...
Read moreWe had a horrible experience. This was our first time ever being at your restaurant. It was my husband and I and our 5 kids. We get inside and there was literally 1 other person in the restaurant sitting at the bar. Our waitress seemed irritated from the moment we arrived. For a family restauran I’d think she’d be a little more friendly. We had to wait so long for her to take our order and every time to come back to check on us. We had to find her to get a drink refilled for my son who waited till his pizza was done. We ordered the parmesan garlic happy hour fries (which she charged normal price for but it wasn’t even worth dealing with her on that). After all our other food came out, I told her we never got them so she brought them out 1/2 way through our dinner. All 5 kids got kids meals. After they ate she asked if we wanted anything else. We said we just wanted the kids' teddy graham cookies that go with the meal. She looks at us and very nonchalantly goes ‘we don’t have any, we’re out’. I explained that at least my littlest 4 were so excited for them. I said we wished she would have told us when we ordered. She responded 'well there’s nothing I can do about it'. Again, she sounded so irritated at us. She never said let me talk to a manager or I’ll get the manager for you, etc. so we just got the check waited at least 7-8 minutes, gave the gift cards and she dropped off the bill and...
