Messed up our order on two occasions. First the bagel had the wrong cream cheese and they gave us new ones no problem. The second time the bagel was wrong again, they didn't ring us up for hash browns, and our latte was lukewarm. I'm not one for complaining and generally will just take it but the fact that every aspect of the order was wrong is what upset me. I tried to call three times and no one answered. I even tried to call corporate but sat on hold for 30 minutes with no answer. I came back an hour and a half later after class ended and they asked us for the food and drink back. I told them I didn't have the food still, it was almost two hours later and I was hungry. I get the whole ask for it back, but since I work myself at a fast service restaurant we would never ask for it back. Anyways, they refused to remake the order and didn't understand that I tried to call them before class to let them know I couldn't come back.
Anyways, I do not like this location but it's the only one in the downtown Elmhurst area so that's a shame.
Hopefully next time it will be better, and if so I will update this review...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreĀ Ā Ā Read moreI am from Wisconsin and the dunkin near me is fantastic. I will DIE for Dunkin. But attending this dunkin makes me even regret going. I try to give the benefit of the doubt cause some days are bad, I get it! But Iāve been here at least 5 times. Every single time the sugar is all settled at the bottom, the flavor is all at the top, and today my coffee was only 3/4 full. I usually get a medium Iced mocha with no cream and extra sugar, but every single time itās been messed up and with little to no (settled) sugar on the bottom. Iāve resorted to just ordering a vanilla iced and just like before, settled sugar and flavor at the top, I also had no napkins in my bag with ordering a sandwich and hash brows. I would understand if this was how ALL the Dunkinās are, like you just have to stir your own but it never happens at the one in Wisconsin. Chain places usually have a protocol to how things are supposed to be done, and there seems to be some sort of misinterpretation at this location. The people are kind but itās just a little frustrating because I know how good Dunkin CAN...
This past week at the one on North Ave and west, I went to get my daughter a sandwich (which she had a credit for) and a coffee. When trying to explain and follow up with what I was told - I was treated very badly by Katrina. When I heard how she talked with the window open I addressed it and she didnāt like it. With her manager Nina behind her listening to this she continued to walk around the store still yelling and talking about me. Nina was and has NEVER been nice or courtesy to customers at this location. With new ownership I do not even know how she is still working here. The only one that did try to help and be courteous was Joe. He remembered the situation and was at least professional. Customers should at least be listened to and not talked to like dirt. But as far as Nina l, who is some type of manager and Katrina Iām surprised how they acted. Not as much as Nina cause her history hasnāt been nice that I ever remember. I think if this is continues then the new ownership will see people not partake here anymore like we did...
