Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Illinois

It’s a hit or miss unfortunately. I’m not sure if the slightly older man there is the owner, but when he’s there everything seems to run smoothly! Timely orders and friendly service.

When he’s not there I’ve had instances of total chaos, subs with messed up ingredients or entire food order wrong for my online orders.

I placed an online order for 2 hot subs. I know it generally takes longer for these but I walk in and it’s not busy at all.

I watch them make my sandwiches and then totally mess up one and have to restart…so I have to wait even longer. I asked for no jalepenos on them and still got them.

Sitting there waiting no apologies on the mistake or the wait, no offer of a drink while waiting over 20 minutes for an online order that should’ve been ready 15 minutes prior mind you. No line in the store.

And this is the second or maybe 3rd occasion when this has happened when he’s not there.

I’m not sure I’ll be returning here for at least a while; or I’ll end up going to the orland park...

I’ve visited Jersey Mike’s a few times, and while the subs are generally flavorful and fresh, my recent experience left a bit to be desired. The staff were friendly but seemed overwhelmed by the rush, which led to a long wait and a slightly disorganized line. I ordered a hot sub, and although the ingredients were good quality, the sandwich itself was unevenly heated and not quite up to the standard I’ve come to expect.

The bread was fresh, and the veggies were crisp, which I appreciate. However, the meat wasn’t sliced as thin as usual, and the sandwich fell apart a bit as I ate it. The shop was clean, but tables weren’t cleared quickly, likely due to how busy it was.

Overall, Jersey Mike’s delivers a solid sub, but consistency and efficiency could use improvement during peak hours. I’d return, but I hope for a smoother...

I have been going to the homer glen location and it is always super clean and nice inside! i love coming here and i just want to commend the guy who made my sandwich John H. I always ask for extra mayo and then the workers at other locations usually add a little bit and spread it thinly, but john h did an amazing job and really listens to what the customers ask for and want. he doubled checked to make sure my order was correct and that i had everything on it. he is very personable, friendly, genuine, professional, and polite from the brief encounters i have had with him. Aside from getting my sandwich, he makes the jersey mikes experience even better. the sandwiches and lunch meat always seem very fresh and this is the jersey mikes to go too along...
