Del Taco — Restaurant in Imperial Beach

I was so excited to visit this new location , but it was a horrible first visit first the shake not even filled to the top , this is how I got them , This was my first time visiting the del taco in Imperial beach that’s 2 min away from me walking distance , I order in the drive thru , I when back because they gave me super cold DLX CHILI CHEESE FRY , when I when back to see if they can make it right and explained to the cashier they cut me off & told me come to the window once at the window the girl at the register ( red / pink hair ) had an attitude & I explain to her I just left not even 5 mins ago they gave me new fries & slammed the windows closed at the drive thru , once again I pulled to the side to check , The order & they didn’t even gave me what I paid for I didn’t want to go back because she already had such bad attitude , no costumer service experience at all , even eat my fries after all it was the worse experience I received with a local business , no costumer service whatsoever & also no phone number to the store to talk too a manager , you clearly can see in my receipt that’s not what I order instead of them owing up that they gave me COLD FRIES , I received an ugly attitude , window slammed to the face & fries that wasn’t what I order , literally live 2 min away & they acted like I was crazy it was more than clear they gave me cold fries and it wasn’t even busy for them to be in such a rush, I understand working in fast food can be stressful but I literally just wanted some...

The food was great per usual Del Taco experience and the place was new, and clean. It’s the management experience I got that just completely turned me off.. I came in to order $7 Del Yeah box, I ordered online to save some time, along with ordering the box I had a Hookup Wednesday coupon for a buy one get one free snack taco, mind you they are only $1.49. For some odd reason when I applied the coupon at check out it would not work, I proceeded to pay anyway online and thought I could explain to them at the store my situation, boy was I wrong. The manager came off passive aggressive like I was lying about a $1.49 taco, and her career depended on giving me the taco. If it was an app mistake that the company owns just take care of your customer instead of insisting that I didn’t use the coupon and I was lying.. she said if I had bought the taco in the store she would give me a free one, that wasn’t the point it clearly showed on my receipt I purchased one, and then the coupon deleted because it registered that I used it. Del Taco, thank you for your service and your dedication to The Del Taco Industry. We have been waiting for the Del Taco in Imperial Beach to open since it’s been announced that it was the future site of Del Taco, but since then we moved away. We had a chance to check if it was open for business and low and behold, it was. We stopped in tonight and the dining room area and entrance was clean and had some customers. The staff seemed busy assembling the food while one girl was attending the drive through orders. Our turn was up to order so we walked up and she was very nice and courteous, she repeated our order and asked if that was it, we said yes. We paid and sat down, and a few minutes later we had our order ready on a tray, all we needed was the Del Scorcho and we were set. The bean and cheese burritos were hot and the cheese was nice and melted, the del beef was hot and the chicken soft tacos were gold. The crinkle cut fries were nice and crispy and salted just right, the orange Fanta washed everything down. Del Taco and the staff store #1399 deserve high compliments for a job well...
