I went to Trident Coffee in Imperial Beach for my first time the other day. It was an awesome experience! My friend and I ordered a blackberry cobbler cold brew, Midnight Vietnamese, an espresso shot, two protein donuts, and a bacon & egg empanada. First off, the space is, well, quite spacious. With a high ceiling, plenty of seating, nice seats, indoor plants, and cool lighting fixtures, the place has a great vibe. The cafe also gets a good amount of natural lighting which livens it up. The coffee drinks were delicious. The Midnight Vietnamese was an activated charcoal latte, and I swapped whole milk for coconut milk—it was unique and with the coconut milk it reminded me of the traditional coconut affogatos they serve in Vietnam. The blackberry cobbler cold brew was really nice as well. I should mention that this shop allows you to do a ton of interesting add-ins to your drinks, like mushrooms, ashwagandha, maca root, and l-theanine — pretty unique. Finally, the food was pretty good overall as well. The donuts were very tasty, especially the lemon poppy. I didn’t expect them to have such great texture after they told us they were high-protein donuts. The texture was absolutely heavenly—such a tender dough. The empanada was decent—not the greatest, but it had a good amount of filling and was quite large. I highly recommend checking Trident coffee out. It’s an awesome coffee shop with good people, and it’s also right beside some really nice walking trails along the end of the bay.

Simply the best. My first time visiting San Diego and also having Trident Coffee which is simply fabulous. I had the honey lavender cappuccino, hot, and it is my favorite. I also had a sip of my partner’s Americano with oat milk and brown sugar and it tasted so goood! Definitely recommend anyone who’s looking for a delicious cup of coffee and most definitely would recommend for those looking to spend some time here. There is plenty of space and tables for you to do some work if needed. Saw plenty of ppl doing work on laptops and being productive both inside and outside. WiFi is fast and reliable, electric outlets easy to reach and the view is calming. Huge windows for plenty of natural light and breeze to come through. The staff is friendly and kind and very quick with their service. 5 stars! Oh yeah! This location is nearby a bike/walk trail near the water.

As an avid cyclist, I cannot express how grateful I am to have discovered Trident Coffee! This hidden gem has become my go-to spot for refreshing pit stops during my rides. Not only do they offer a wide range of delicious beverages, but their friendly and cheerful attitude and exceptional service truly set them apart.

One of the reasons why Trident Coffee has earned a special place in my heart is their willingness to cater to cyclists like myself. Every time I walk through their doors, they are more than happy to fill my bottle with ice-cold water without hesitation. It may seem like a small gesture, but when you're out on the road pushing yourself mile after mile, having access to cool hydration can make all the difference.

Now let's talk about my favorite coffee, Calm Under Pressure. This cold brew coffee infused with nitro is pure perfection. The addition of nitro gives this beverage an incredibly smooth flavor that keeps me coming back for more. It's invigorating, satisfying, and simply irresistible!

But it's not just the taste that makes Trident Coffee stand out; it's also the atmosphere and ambiance within its walls. As soon as you step inside, you're greeted by friendly staff who genuinely care about your experience. Despite any rush or busy periods they might be experiencing (and believe me, this place gets popular), they remain calm under pressure - just like my favorite drink name suggests.

To top it all off, Trident Coffee consistently maintains high standards when it comes to quality ingredients and presentation. Each cup is crafted with care, ensuring that every sip is a moment of pure bliss. It's clear that the baristas here take pride in their work and strive to deliver an exceptional experience to every customer, no matter how busy they may be.

In conclusion, Trident Coffee has become my haven as a cyclist seeking both hydration and invigorating fuel during my rides. Their willingness to fill up my water bottle on demand, paired with their heavenly cold brew coffee, makes this place an absolute...
