Mangini’s Pizzeria — Restaurant in Imperial Beach

Imperial Beach has been needing a pizzeria like this—and it did not disappoint! The food was absolutely delicious. The naturally leavened sourdough crust is incredible, and the menu has an impressive variety of creative pizzas. Every ingredient tasted fresh and high-quality.

We ordered several personal-size pizzas to sample different flavors, thinking we’d find a favorite to stick with in the future—but we ended up loving every single one! Choosing a favorite might be impossible.

We came with family and met friends, and easily found a table for eight with no wait. The restaurant feels spacious and open, with plenty of seating, and it wasn’t too loud—perfect for catching up with friends. You order at the register and get a number for your table, but staff were walking around the whole time, clearing tables and available for any requests, which made the experience really smooth.

My kids ordered gelato, which was the perfect size and super yummy.

All in all, I can definitely see this becoming a regular dining spot for us. I’m really happy this...

One word describes this place. FANTASTIC. Food, service, atmosphere and location. Kevin and Luke have created a genuine experience. From the coffee bar that’s open to 1:30pm to the all day pizza choices. Unique styles I’ve never seen at any other pizza place. My favorite is the Barbacoa pizza. The meat is tender and juicy with a great sauce and crispy crust with extreme flavor. My family and I also had the wings and BBQ pizza. My wife is big on salads and boy were the topping fresh! We got two large and they fed all 5 of us. We noticed how much of a community is inside that place because as we were there, a volleyball team came in after a tournament and had their team meal there. Kevin and Luke took care of everyone like family and I have to say it’s a breath of fresh air to see people still value local business. They have an awesome team of young people that are very respectful and amazing cooks. I use love to see businesses giving young people opportunity. I will for sure be back time and time again for more of everything....

Okay everyone I gave it a week before I wanted to give this place a review I wanted it to be good it's less than a block away from my house unfortunately it's not as good as I would hope it would be let's start off with the fact I gave it two stars because service was very nice there was a mistake made on the app Pizza was completely wrong and they were very nice and fixed it..

That's where the excitement ends unfortunately the pizza was nothing to write home about number one point I can't eat it cold...

It's very tough come to find out it's 100-year-old sourdough recipe that should be discarded because it's so so tough to eat...

And this is coming from somebody that loves sourdough....

Toppings were good.. Service was good Place is really pretty..

This is an incredibly costly pizza for my neighborhood on 13th Street..

Especially when we can get $7 pizza that we can actually eat cold at Domino's less than a...
