The woman, Mandy, had a terrible attitude. She was visibly either having a really bad day, or just has no respect for customers. I assume she was either a shift leader or manager, so was multitasking, but that doesn't warrant treating people like children. I was the only person at the register when she initially took my order, but needed a few moments after she told me they couldn't serve for allergies. She walked away after that and didn't return for about 10 minutes. She was taking people's orders out to the tables. When she returned, she didn't apologize or even acknowledge that I was obviously standing in a "fast food" restaurant for an excessive amount of time.
It was a Sunday, so they were busier than usual due to the high volume of customers there for the All you Can Eat lunch. I asked her about if there was an option for allergies, and she said no. She told me that they have a sign up somewhere out front that says that. I guess I was supposed to go look for the sign because it was nowhere indoors.
I was even okay with that part. I then asked if I could just order a burger for the person since that should be separate, but she said that the food is "close together" so that wouldn't be an option either. Apparently, they use fish batter to cook their burgers, shrimp, fries, and everything else. I can't see any other reason that someone with shrimp allergy would need to stay away from the burgers and fries.
The guy was very nice and helpful. The woman had such a bad attitude that she screwed up my order, and never added everything I said. She handed me the receipt and walked away without saying thank you or anything. Had she noticed I was still standing there, she would have realized her error, but the guy (younger male, name began with a T) walked up and apologized and helped me from there.
The strawberry shake is just vanilla with a little strawberry syrup on top. Once the strawberries are gone, you have mostly a vanilla shake. The food isn't good at all. It taste like a stale microwaveable dinner. The sides are handed to you in small condiment cups that aren't filled to the top.
The location is convenient, but the layout of the parking lot is horrible. The only logical entrance is "Exit Only." It's silly. They have been there for years, and should be able to afford to fix that by now.
The inside is small and outdated. I wouldn't recommend going here. There are other food chains along the block that taste better, have better prices, and better customer service.
