By far the worst experience I have ever had with a company on many many occasions. There is absolutely no way that the 5 stars came from actual customers. #1 worst customer service I have ever had to deal with in 35 years of my life. . and a certain furniture store comes in second. I was told to call customer service cause they would be able to help me but they were actually much worse. I am amazed by how bad they are. They absolutely do not care about their customers. After spending thousands of dallars there, and nothing proud to show from it. I am not spending another dime there again. and as a barber I will not hesitant to tell my customers to never ever buy a wedding or engagement ring or any Jewelry at that place. I always have customers ask for my opinion on where they should eat, shop , hike... ect.... and will tell my experience to who ever wants to listen to it. They dont even deserve 1 star.
update. since Jared refused to fix their mistake on my ring. I went somewhere else to get a quote on how much I would pay someone else to fix Jared botchy mistake and it ended up being almost 300 hundreds not only did they not size my ring the size I asked for the first and second time and both before I ever got to take it home and wear, they made the ring so thin that I now have to get more platinum added to fix it. ..... But thats not it. ....they also had two large cracks on the inside of my platinum ring that the makers made before selling it me. So after purchasing a forevermark ring from Jared. platinum, 1 carat diamond and it rated "very good " on polish and symmetry and spending over 7 thousand dallars. I am now paying a better and more loyal business 300 dallars to fix Jareds mistakes when they made the ring. cause Jared told me it wasnt their problem. and so did Kays in springfeild. I actually took the ring to Kays in the mall cause they are sister companies. And showed them the cracks and he told me tough . lol I walked out shaking my head at him and Ileft with a smile. I guess Jared is wanting to make money off you from the mistakes they make. Till now customer service still has not reached out to me. Never ever buy from Jared when there are thousands of other places that actually care about the customers and a Happy Customer. Jared is just a name. the products from them are crud. go somewhere else and get what you pay for..... when I have time I will write another review of another ring my husband ended up buying me a year later for 1200 dallar fron them. the same but alittle worse happened. Iâm not typically a woman that is particular about rings, my fiancĂ© picked out my first ring on his own which I absolutely adored but he offered to allow me to look at other options and see if I was interested in other options. When we came in, we saw Molly who was very thorough and educated me about many different settings and bands and different shapes of individual stones. Since I was a little overwhelmed, I decided to take her information and ponder it for awhile. When I arrived again, we met Leslie, because we kept missing Molly due to me just wandering in from time to time. Always unsure of what I wanted. One day, my fiancĂ© said it was about that time I actually decided and although I felt there was too much to choose from Leslie was very patient with me and kept asking me open ended questions about what seemed to catch my eye or didnât catch my eye. It was because of her expertise that I was able to finally get a grasp on a certain look that I really loved. This look ended up coming from one ring, but there were certain things I felt were missing. She pulled out several rings and said do you like this? And this band would look beautiful with the setting you love. After looking at about four different ideas she knew exactly the look I was going for, she said we should custom make my ring and came up with an idea, and said this is the look I think you are going for. She created one of the most beautiful rings I have ever laid eyes on. Iâm still in shock about how she was able to understand what I would love, bring those ideas together, and create what I saw in my mind, and bring it to life. Sheâs truly an artist. She is knowledgeable, patient, and jewelry is an art form for her, undeniably. If your looking for the perfect ring go to Jared. Meet Leslie and pick her brain, and Molly was so accommodating as well. Their customer service is above perfection. They made me one happy woman and have actually given me a different reflection of diamonds. It is an art. And it doesnât have to be overwhelming, it can be fun! And exciting! And most of all, bring an amount of joy that is indescribable. Thank you Leslie so much. Molly, thank you also. And the entire Jared team. Highly recommend. I canât remember which one it is) and a wonderful lady with Blonde hair and glasses (I believe her name was Tera?) were incredibly nice and helpful, I wonât be returning to this location to fulfill my future jewelry needs. This last encounter was it for me.. the last time I got a rhodium plating treatment on my ring (white gold) back in Nov 2023, it was given back and looked like it was rose gold and not white.. it was corrected and I went on my way. I just did the same thing today (5/4) and again, I was given my ring back the very same.. so I went back in, there were three or so other women huddled, sitting and talking/gossiping behind the counter.. I went in to explain to Tera(?) what I discovered.. the women were quiet while I explained, then once I was done, I heard a LOUD âOh my GOOOOODDDDDD!â, as if she was annoyed I had to come back in because my ring wasnât done to my satisfaction.. what makes me think that it was towards me and Iâm mentioning it, is because they stopped their conversation to hear me, and as SOON as I was done, thatâs the first thing I hear. Then theyâre back to talking about God knows what. Tera(?) and Grant, who helped and worked on my ring were polite and apologetic and there was no big deal.. it looked okay after they took it back.. but after returning home to different lighting and further inspection, my ring still looks ârose goldâ in some areas and one of the brackets holding my diamond is SCRATCHED! Iâm not even mad at the scratch or the error in the plating.. it was the extremely loud âOh my Godâ I heard and it made me extremely uncomfortable as if I was in the wrong to come back.. It just sucks.. Iâve spent over $15k in a matter of months here and itâs sad how they are one way when money is involved and totally different when itâs not. Saving myself the trouble next time and just heading over to the Overland Park location.
