This is one of my favorite Starbucks. Usually pretty fast, my mobile order has almost always been ready by the time I get there. If I order drive through, it’s usually fairly fast.
I am editing my review to express some frustration at their continuously changing hours of operation. No other Starbucks location in the area has changed their hours like this. In the last year, this location has closed, opened, opened a few days a week, opened drive thru only, opened for mobile orders only, opened for no mobile orders, closed again, opened for the afternoon hours, changed their opening hours to much later, changed them back, and then now has changed their hours again to open earlier on the week days, but quite late for a coffee chain on sundays. There have been times I have placed my order before I left home, and when I got there, employees weren’t actually there. The app does not always reflect their hours, and so this has resulted in me losing money because I submit my order, but no one is there. This is frustrating because I never know when they will actually be open.
I work in an ICU on the weekends, and stop for coffee there on the way. With their new hours, I once again cannot go to this Starbucks before a day shift. The app initially did not show this change, and their hours listed on the building did not reflect this either.
I am here again editing my review. I’ve pretty much had to stop coming to this Starbucks, as I never know if they’re actually going to be open or if their mobile orders are up and working. At times I can place an order but get here and the store isn’t open, or they say they aren’t taking orders. A few weeks ago I placed my order and came on the way to work (about 6:00 am). I got here and they opened at 7:00, the latest I’ve ever seen for this store. Today I came on my way somewhere and they don’t have orders up and close at 1:00 pm. A few months ago they spent awhile closing at noon. No other starbucks in the surrounding area has these issues.
Another update for January 2023. It appears they’ve changed their hours 2-3 more times, however I didn’t catch it before going one morning on the way to work. As of now, they open at their normal 5:30 on weekdays, and 6:00 on weekends. This is still an improvement from other changes where they opened at 6:30 or even 7:00 on weekends or just sundays and I had to stop going there. I can still just barely make it to work on time as long as they don’t open too late. Sometimes this happens though. They also now close at 7:30 every day, except for Saturday where they close at 8:00. Normal times for them have stayed around 9:00, sometimes moved to the 8:00 hour. They’ve had some periods where they’ve closed late afternoon, and another while where they closed at 4:30. I’ve experienced two more instances where it was just closed unexpectedly for third at, or two. One time I could still mobile order but arrived to find them closed. I checked the app at work and they were closed for two days. They’ve done okay about signage on the door about being closed, but there have been a handful of times where there wasn’t anything. Announcements on the door for hours changes have happened, but I haven’t seen them too often. I could be missing it as I usually only go there Saturday and Sunday before work.
Starbucks, you have to stop changing your hours so much all of the time. No other Starbucks in the city is impacted quite this much. There have been some changes as necessary for staff and resources, but nothing comparable to this location. Your staff there are polite, friendly, speedy, and accurate to customers. They deserve a fair workload, but they also deserve consistent hours and customers that aren’t frustrated with the changing hours of operation. This really deters your customers who can go to two other locations along the highway, depending on what direction they’re going. This location has been my preference because it’s faster, closer, more accurate, and somehow more delicious than the...
Read moreI went in to fulfill a checkpoint (donut purchase) for points on my starbies app, as I was around that area. Had my sister with me so we figured we could have breakfast together. She got a lavender chill with oatmilk and I got the lavender oatmeal matcha latte. Neither drink came to us fully mixed. We had the powder caking the bottom of our cups. My matcha tasted more like water than it did matcha (even after I mixed it). My sister's drink tasted more like oatmilk with ice in it than lavender. We've had these drinks at three other locations and this was by far no where close to the quality of the other three locations. The wait time was rather tedious considering how many were behind the bar when we arrived (8 people). Three times I had people cut me in line while trying to order, when I finally got up to order the girl was unsure what she had in stock for the breakfast items. I ordered two glazed donuts, one of which came straight out of the case because they didn't have enough to give me a fresh one. So, instead they made me pay full price for a donut that had been sitting out for four hours. Once I paid, the girl mumbled something at me, I'm not sure exactly what was said because she was practically whispering it at me. I wondered down to the very end where I had to yet again wait before I received my items. A lady three people after us got her items before us. We got our items before the nice gentleman who came in before us (all he ordered was a coffee!). The girls setting out the orders were whispering over the loud hum of the place, no one could hear them! All in all I probably will take the extra time and go to a different a location. This Starbucks is NOT worth the hassle. Food was edible and I can't give zero stars so one star they get. But, I would be giving them zero...
Read moreI had a less than stellar experience at this location. There were at least six people behind the counter when I arrived around 11am, and no one acknowledged me or even noticed me standing at the counter for at least two minutes. It doesn’t sound like a long time, but when you’re standing there watching them all with their back to you in silence, it makes for an awkward and uncomfortable start.
Because no one saw me walk in, the barista who did eventually notice me started the conversation with an effort to charge me for the cup I brought in with me, then checked the shelf of their inventory to make sure I wasn’t lying about the fact that I already owned it.
I ordered one of their sugar cookie lattes and it was so bitter, a far cry from the one I had at a different location this morning. Either the drink was made with the wrong espresso beans, or there is something wrong with their machine.
They did call my name when my order was done, but no one bothered to even look at me when I approached, claimed my order, and thanked them, despite 3 people being snuggly cornered into that end of the bar.
When they returned my cup to me, it had flavored syrup smeared across half of it that was sticky, made more complicated by the fact that they don’t offer paper towels in the restrooms and their napkins disintegrate with water.
All in all, I can acknowledge my complaints boil down to first world problems, however, this is not the experience that Starbucks prides itself on as a company, and it left me disappointed. I’ll probably not visit this location again, since there are plenty of other options that provide a...
