Called at 8:32 Fri, 12/21/2018, to inform Tims, that the web site on the google search was not up. Directing to a web fault, no address found. I was interested in phoning in an order to be picked up. Phone call goes like this, I quote, " "Tims Pizza." "Yes, hi your web sight seems to be down". "So!" " So well I was interested in looking at your menu, so I could place a to go order." "Ya and what?" Look there is more than one Tims Pizza in this country we get calls from all over the country, we dont do the web stuff. We dont do credit cards, just cash and we get calls from all over the country." "I just wanted to let you know that your web address is down." "Ya well I have other customers." Click. What I wanted was four large loaded pizzas to be picked up for the surprise party that I was being given, at my home less than 3 miles from Tims location. After bragging to my friends, who flew in to surprise to me, that this was the best, and way better than Minsky's. It's going to take a great deal for me to see past this. You see, If it was not for 5 star google reviews I personally receive, I would not have a job. Tim, If your employee would have said a name I would single out, so you get zero, as I have to post at least one, and that's two, to many. Good luck with that. You are done on my social pages, my friends and family who listened, on speaker to this, concur. And they do indeed live all over the country. Thanks for the great dinner conversation over Minsky's. It did indeed turn into a very...
Read moreThis place has such a small-town feel, that I thought I was going to come up here and get the ball rolling on google reviews. I was both surprised and not surprised to see it has hundreds of reviews.
I called before hand with some very special dietary needs for my wife. Needs that every other restaurant declined. Not only did Tim's take care of it for me, they did an awesome job!
The crust on Tim's pizza is authentic pizza crust. It's clearly hand-made, not stamped out by a machine. The bottom is lightly crisp (even the center) without oil or grease on it. The pizza's are most likely baked on a pizza stone. You just can't get this kind of crust any other way. The top of the crust has puffy bubbles, the way pizza is supposed to be.
The toppings are top-notch. The Canadian bacon is the best I have ever had on a pizza. I would be surprised if it wasn't specially made for Tim's.
The cheese pizza is NOT a pizza with some cheese on it. It IS a cheese pizza. You will know it.
I tried several pizzas. The toppings were well balanced with no one topping dominating the pizza. These guys have been doing this a long time, and it shows.
The sauce is obviously a well-planned recipe. Tim's is a little light on the sauce for my tastes, but I will just ask for extra next time I am in. I like the sauce pretty heavy.
The strangest thing is that I have drove right past Tim's a few thousand times and never knew it was there. It is well...
Read moreRead moreDear Tim's Pizza- I was so disappointed in the pizzas that I ordered. I ordered 2 medium, 1 with pepperoni and 1 with sausage. Both pizza crusts were so hard they were very hard to eat. The crust scraped the roof of my mouth and was painful. The ingredients took up only about 1/3 of the pizza. From the outside crust of both pizzas about 1/2 way in, there was only sauce. It was sad. each pizza was $15. They were expensive and not worth the $$. Had you had the toppings to the very edge and a decent crust, I would not have minded paying so much. I was told that you take free pizzas out to shut in people for free. That is a nice gesture. But maybe make the pizzas worth what you charge and ask people to chip in on the pizzas that you give away. That way your cost per pizza would remain the same or go down based on the generosity of those who buy your food. In conclusion, always remember that there are people like me who will at least tell you what their complaint is so you have a chance to fix it. But also know that I'm not the only one with a complaint and they may just go somewhere else when they order pizza next...
