The night started great. It was time to eat. And we love good food. It had also been a while since we had been to Twin Peaks. So away we went. As we approached the sign we may has well been a car full of lost travelers and the sign may had well said,"Bates Motel." As we entered this normally crowded eatery we should have known something was off. There were far more empty seats than patrons. Like a Disney Princess. Our waitress seemed to appear out of nowhere. She was friendly, took our drink orders, and was as pleasant as she could be. She was back in flash with our drinks and ready to take our order. We had a third with us who ordered the house salad and we ordered a burger and sandwich. The salad came first. Not that this was some sort of oddity. But we were alll dining together. So naturally with the next to empty facility. We were looking over our shoulders for our remaining order to follow. But after welll over 30 minutes. And a clearly embarrassed waitress. We asked why our orders were taking so long. She said it was possible that something in the kitchen was causing the hold up. To which I replied,"It's not your kitchen. It was your lack of leadership". And that was when she appeared. Clarissa the stoic and unapologetic "Manager" brought a portion of our order. With the grace and demeanor one would expect from someone beneath the title she wore. I expected at the very least some sort of explanation as to why we were starting to grow a 5 o'clock shadow from the time we ordered. And her cyborg silence as she walked away after completing 1/3 of our order. Leaving our waitress hung out to dry. As she apologized profusely about the extremely tardy length of time between our salad order and no idea when the rest of our meal might arrive. She was a trooper. And we assured her that we did not blame her in the least. But instead her "Manager" Clarissa who must have skimmed the, "How to manage a restaurant for those without the skillset to care" handbook. When our food finally arrived it tasted fine. And now was the perfect opportunity for the "Manager" to at least apologize for the wait. But customer service and apathy proved she leaned heavily towards the unconcerned. For once again she helped put the food on the table. And quickly, without a peep, marched back to the hostess podium. That was located at the helm of a restaurant I expected to see a tumble weed blow through. Once again it was Tatum who did her best to make up for the extremely long wait to which we assured her. That it was it was not her fault and we would reward her care and concern for our inconveince when the bill came. And when it did. It was over $50 for an a nausiating wait time. In a restaurant that was filled with fewer customers than one expect to see in a fast food restaurant. In the middle of the afternoon. During a hurricane. In an economy fraught with inflation. The least a customer would expect for an inexcususable wait time. Would be the manager to at best briefly stop to express her appreciation for our patients for a meal that was delayed for far too long. But sadly we ate, paid for the over priced meal under the circumstances, a portion of which went to the entitled "Mamager." But not without rewarding the true hero of the evening. Our sympathetic waitress Tatum with a $12 tip. So if you are looking a for a restaurant. That shows their appreciation for the hard working customers. By treating them as if they cared enough to understand. That times are hard. And is overseen by a manager unwittingly void of grasping the customer who is paying a good portion of their salary. Really matters. I highly encourage you to patron Twin Peaks. Because Clarissa the "Manger" will not disappoint. For the other 90%. I suggest going to McDonalds because at least their managers always greet you with a smile. And leave you with a,"Have...
Read moreFirst off let me start by saying as someone who works in the Restaurant industry. I never expect top quality service because I understand rush hour & side work. Never wanna be an extra pain in the butt to who ever takes care of me. That being said nor do I expect free stuff or discounts but can value whats done right from the moment you sit down. 8/4/25 sit down solo at the bar grab a beer around. Three of my co workers decide to join me. Place an order for wings and fries. Takes 30min just for my order to arrive for my food to be half in a TOGO BOX. And half in a regular plate. (no big problem just crossing my fingers its nice and hot). Can clearly tell my wings are very very dry requested extra sauce came right out. But by that probably 45min till closing time. And noticed staff had clearly maxed out the A/c to try and get us out quick.(Still decide to just do me not cause issue) I ordered another angry orchard. ASAP noticed it taste funny, friends tried it and tell me it’s just me. Taste just fine to them, cool no issue. But half way threw bartender comes to me and ask if my beer tastes funny or anything like that matter. I immediately questioned yes it dam did. Come to the conclusion they just noticed they had hooked up the Budweiser line to the angry orchard. What A dam joke. She never offers to replace it or apologizes about the matter But continues to just question us how checks are gonna workout. After Receiving my check yup she has the honor of charging me for that stupid mix of beer. After I checked out she tries handing me a $5 coupon for my next visit trying to make up for that “minor accident”. Didn’t want to leave a bad review but wow from kitchen staff, to bartenders service sucks lost...
Read moreI love going here. Their house beers are delicious, and they have a good selection of others as well. The BBQ Pulled Pork nachos are so good and too much for one person to eat. They are also around $9 so they're a great value. If that's not your thing, the menu is extensive. I've heard that the fish tacos are also quite good. The wait staff is probably the main reason people come here, and it's easy to see why. They are true professionals and seem to enjoy their work. My waitress was smiling every time I saw her, even if she was just carrying someone's credit card back to the cash register to process it. In short, great beer, great food, great prices, and the best waitresses anywhere.
Update 2022-08-11 The menu has been evolving. The BBQ nachos don't appear to be on it any more. The beer is cold and delicious. The prices have gone up slightly. But the wait staff is still worth the visit.
Update 2023-07-11 Menu continues to evolve but still good. The chili is excellent, as are the mozzarella bites and boneless wings. The wait staff is worth the visit alone.
Update 2025-06-14 The uniforms have changed a little, the venison chili is now brisket chili, some other menu changes, but that's about it. Everything else is the...
