Wendy's — Restaurant in Independence

This location has its pros and cons. It's usually a quick stop on my way to work. They are definitely faster than McDonald's down the street. They have got my order wrong a couple times nothing to big though. The food does taste old sometimes and the burgers are usually burnt. The majority of the workers here are teens to early 20's and there are a COUPLE nice workers. The time I go to work when I stop here, the workers are nice, however; I have came here on my lunch break and after work and the workers are totally rude! A relative came here and got a 1.99 kids meal that included a burger, fries and drink. I thought this was a wonderful deal, so I came through later in the day to get my son the same thing, and the girl literally said "DONT HAVE IT" like that! I explained how a relative got this same thing and THERE IS A HUGE SIGN ON THEIR FRONT WINDOW THAT SHOWS THE 3 ITEMS WITH 1.99 KIDS MEAL ADVERTISED and she told me to leave! I went back around, got a photo of the sign and went back to the window and showed her. She rudely slammed the window, and rang it up then jerked the money out of my hand! Sadly, she was the same person who gave me my food at the 2nd window and literally threw the bag at me. Every time this girl has been working, she is extremely rude to me. She just throws the food at me and slams the window. There are a couple workers here like this as well. I was raised with respect. I would like for everyone that has gotten or gets the Apple Pecan Grilled Chicken salad to respond ab my review. They MOST of the time really almost every time, only a very few times, hve & do they give good salad! The lettuce is alot of white core pieces & alot of weathered & not good or fresh lettuce! They don't give much of the blue cheese sprinkles or cranberries, very little, not enough & not what they should! They & the head supervisor don't care & won't make it right after complaining alot & only replaceing for a certain ab of times even though they keep giving salads that r not what they r supose to b. The price of the salads r high anyway, they should & r supose to give good salads w good lettuce & the right good amounts of the blue cheese sprinkles & cranberries! They hve attudes ab replaceing them & say they r not going to keep giving free food when it is replaceing all the bad ones, not giving out free food, it is not what they're doing when they replace bad orders that u paid for!!! The manager on duty the evening of 7-22-23 Does not care about his staff or the customers. He had a young man who might be special needs running the counter by himself and no one was helping him at all. I the customer had to take it upon myself to help him put orders together. I had to alert other staff that he needed help. By the time we got our correct order the food was ice cold and burgers were not made correctly. The restaurant was slow and we were the only guests inside. No one cared that we we waited 20 mins for our food nor seemed to care that the young man at the counter was really struggling. I told the employee that it was not his fault and that he was doing a good job and it is not his fault he was not trained correctly or put in thar position. Idk if he was new but you all need to talk to that manager on duty he has no customer service skills and didn't even offer an apology to us nor seemed to offer any coaching to the employee.We received a refund and I honestly don't care about the food more concerned with management and that employee I hope the GM discusses this with...
