El Rodeo Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Indiana

TO GO CUSTOMERS BEWARE: I fell in love with the chips, queso, and salsa at the Fisher's location where you can get all three items for $5. No such luck with this location and the Carmel one (I've learned it's a differen owner than Fisher's) they charge you separately for all three and it's just over $8 after tax....fine, I've come to terms with it as I work close to this location and really enjoy it. BUT tonight I'm over it, it was the last straw. My total exceeded $9 and I asked if pricing had gone up. I was told no and then he quoted the prices that I'd already known. I did the math in my phone and asked the tax coming up with my usual total and showed him. I then asked what the extra dollar was....he then said it was for the containers, I said I've never been changed that, nor did he tell me he was charging me for that. I asked if he was the manager and was told no, and that no manager was available. He literally made up an extra charge that I've NEVER been changed and wasn't even honest about it. Nope, done, only going to Fisher's location...

I went to lunch late around 2:30 and encountered the worst service. No customers were in the bar area, so I decided to take a seat at a high top table. After 5 mins I was asked if I wanted a menu….”this is a food establishment”. My order came quickly and was satisfactory. I had to go to the cash register because no one came back to ask me if I needed anything. After I finished my food. I proceeded to the cash register. I stood at the register for 5 mins. another couple came in to be seated. We stood another 3-4 mins. Finally “Charlie”came to the front of the restaurant and proceeded to seat the couple. I insisted that he needed to cash me out first. Charlie ask me to wait while he seated the couple. I spoke up and told him that I had been standing at the register for 5 mins. I wasn’t waiting another minute. I considered his actions very rude and disrespectful. Over looking a paying customer is a problem. I will never give this establishment another penny. Be careful going to this restaurant when there are no customers SERVICE...

Really bad the last few times. I think I'm going to quit going her and suck it up and drive into town to El Toro. Ordered Steak, which smelled funny and tasted funny threw out and no peppers like I should have received and ton of onions,, rice 3 forks worth (i'm not kidding) and dry, beans a little more than the rice everything was ice cold. The last few time quality horrible - can't eat throw it out, service was sloooowwww have ask 3 or 4 times for 1 item, and seriously not even 10 tables in the restaurant little after 5 PM, forget the queso, burnt chips, fried ice cream, need to check your freezer soupy mush and easy on the syrup, you can still tell even how much syrup you put on the ice cream is mushy and soupy instead of rock hard like fried ice cream is supposed to be. The tall guy, I think was the manager, with black hair, who always very out going, I have not see in a while and not had a good experience since him working there. Waste of time and money. Get it...
