Giving this place 5 stars for making the wise and responsible decision to terminate Rick. He not only embarrassed himself publicly all over the local chatter pages in Facebook (and continues to post random things to deflect his actions which is bizarre and cowardly), but he also obsessively tried to tie his name to this company like he owns it (making them look bad), publicly named his victim and her place of employment, victimized himself in the whole situation to garner sympathy rather than owning his actions and accepting the consequences, as well as gaslit people into leaving this company 5 star reviews with his name mentioned in order to try to manipulate and place public pressure on Dirty Dough into giving him his job back. That kind of behavior is abysmal and disturbing no less. I think Rick’s behavior alone post-termination says everything about the kind of guy he is behind closed doors and exposes the facade he presents to the community. People can be nice all they want, but sexual harassment and violation of privacy isn’t excused just because you’re nice to people. Kudos to Dirty Dough for standing their ground. And shame on you Rick and everyone who left a review in his honor, meanwhile completely neglecting and ignoring the true victim in this situation. You’re only driving home the stigma of why women never feel comfortable coming forward and reporting inappropriate behavior. Rick, please seek...
Read moreDirty Dough in Zionsville isn’t just serving up the best cookies in the area (and trust me, they are the best)—they’re setting the standard for customer service too. And that starts with Rick, the guy behind the counter who treats every customer like they just walked into his own kitchen.
Rick is the kind of person who makes you feel like you’re not just buying a cookie—you’re joining a cookie cult (the good kind). Friendly, quick with a joke, and genuinely passionate about what he does, he takes the whole experience up a notch. You can tell he takes pride in the product and the people.
Every time I stop in, the cookies are fresh, warm, and ridiculously good—gooey centers, bold flavors, and just the right amount of indulgence. But what keeps me coming back is the vibe. You leave Dirty Dough with a cookie in one hand and a smile on your face.

Read moreUpdated edit: the first couple times I had these cookies they were amazing, but lately in the last few months they’ve really started lacking. They don’t taste near as good and more than not the cookies are not cooked. I understand the texture they’re going for, that’s why I liked them in the beginning but at this point they are just severely under cooked. Maybe the got new employees, I’m not sure but I stopped eating here.
For Valentine’s Day my neighborhood management dropped off a cookie from dirty dough on everyone’s doorstep.. I’ve been wanting to try them but just hadn’t done it yet… after trying that cookie I went ahead and ordered a box today… Hoolyyy deliciousness. These are what crumbl wish they were! The cookies are fart large, moist and just all around amazing.. and the price for cookies of this size just make it that much better. If you haven’t tried them...
