I could very easily give this restaurant a low rating because it took us 23 minutes to get our order. But that wasn’t really the part that bothered me. We were there Saturday night at around 530. There was only one car in the drive thru and an empty parking lot, so I thought “I wonder why it is taking so long?”
I understand being short-staffed more than most people I know, and of course that was the primary excuse that was given. However, it did not take me long to figure out there was a more concerning issue, easily fixable, that the company needs to address.
What I observed was two employees, who showed little to no drive - no willingness to help get orders out faster, and a manager who was more concerned with barking orders - well he was actually YELLING at his employees; I could hear every word he was shouting from the front counter. Not talking loud and firm. Yelling - as if they were his children breaking house rules.
Good luck staffing your restaurant if that is how you treat people barely making enough to make a living.
I can forgive mistakes, slow times, and a few other rare concerns - but a manager who loses his mind when things are a little tough and takes it out on his employees instead of finding an efficient way to take care of customers despite a few obstacles is not someone who you want running...
Read moreA recent visit in drive through 11/2/2024 took quite some time. No biggie simply due to the fact they were transitioning from breakfast to lunch so it's to be expected. The employees over the intercom failed to greet accordingly. The lady at the window , same thing, lack of attention to detail on customer service. She takes the debit card, swipes it, let's it lay on the counter top while making the drinks. Both drinks get handed off abruptly, and wrong. When given back to her, she doesn't acknowledge, doesn't speak, just yanks them back and shuts the slider door forcefully. She comes back and slides the door open and proceeds to ask " what were the drinks again". I tell her. Another worker " male " brings the food and just hands it off abruptly. No thanks for coming, no greetings, no farewell . For a job with such a LOW responsibility level requirement, its rough to see how they failed miserably at their jobs. It's sad to see just how much the labor work force has gone...
Read moreThe review of this Hardee's is as follows: The men's restroom was absolutely destroyed. It was as if someone had let loose a feral cat on the bathroom tissue, and after that was completed, a very wet dog came in and shaked water everywhere. The lobby had signs of serious neglect it was like a trash man's wet dream. If you remember the episode of Sunny in Philadelphia where Frank became the trash man and flung trash everywhere then welcome to this Hardee's. The food was like the previous point absolutely trash. After 2 tries at a fried chicken sandwich which resembled that of a very old limestone rock we decided to try the hot ham and cheese. Which after paying more money because we wouldn't want to be rude... we... never... ever received... like not even a little bit.
I've never been told to go Love myself while at the same time the whole team's screaming the moto of not my job so hard.
