Sabor de la Vida — Restaurant in Indiana

I was passing through this area and wanted to try something different. I almost didn't stop because of the "attached to gas station" location but the food did NOT disappoint. This was a two person operation it took about 10 minutes for my food to come out. I got the Chimichanga with beans and rice. When it came out it was mildly warm wish it was hot, but it tasted great. The salsas that came out with the chips were great. I liked the red salsa better than the green, both were good though. The location wasn't the greatest but the food made up for it. I'd definitely go back. This place is worth a try.

I've been coming here for about 2 years i think. It's so good that if they are open and I'm close I have to go there. I love the Cubano but I've ordered all over the menu and haven't had a bad meal once. The younger gentleman that takes orders and runs the register is always super friendly and nice to conversate with. If you want some real Mexican food not the American fake then this is where you go. Sabor de la Vida is a true diamond in the rough! This incredibly delicious, authentic Mexican restaurant is a small, owner operated establishment, located in the Shell Gas Station.
