SECOND UPDATE:
I ordered 2 iced chai lattes with a shot of espresso.
I received 2 cups of warm milk with a shot of espresso.
This is the 2nd time in a row this has happened.
I'm tempted to launch my own coffee shop at this point.
UPDATE:
I appreciate the owner's timely response, and their attempt to make things right, so I updated my review from 1 to 3 stars.
That being said, the reason why I spend $10 on a cup of coffee is because, when it's prepared quickly and correctly, it's convenient. The moment it becomes inconvenient, it's not even worth the price of the raw ingredients.
I have no way of knowing what percentage of your customers are sugar or flavor addicts. Maybe they make up the majority, maybe they don't.
For non-addicts, you're not selling coffee—you're selling convenience.

I don’t expect top notch service from places like this, but this is the third time in a row your employees messed up my coffee.

Train them. Give them some reference cards or something....

Read moreThe building is brand new. A different look for Starbucks but very inviting. The building had large windows with great sunlight. There were large, spacious tables and normal height chairs. They also had four luxurious chairs with an end table in the center of the open room. Once ordered, they set out my item on a regular sized bar at the end of their shop. The table/bar had 5 or 6 low bar stools where you can wait for your coffees and food. I am sure the baristas were new, but they were very nice, tried very hard but we're a bit nervous. They obviously just wanted to do everything right. It was an extremely pleasant experience and their coffees we're excellent and the blueberry scone was exceptional. Beautiful environment, helpful staff. I love Columbus and Greenville Indiana. Starbucks is a wonderful compliment...
