I visited my local Hardee's to get me and my girlfriend some breakfast. We went through the drive through to not only be greeted by a very hateful "order when ready", we sat there for about 3 minutes. I said sound a little happier for me please! No response. Sat there for another brief minute or so and said are you ready? She snaps back "I've been ready". I place my order, and proceed to the drive through window. She opens the window and repeats my total. I simply ask, having a bad day? She replies with "yes. It's hard to be happy this early." I respond with saying it's easier to order from someone who's happier! If you aren't in a good mood, atleast be good to your customers. How would your manager feel if she knew you were being this way? She replies with "get the manager, I honestly don't care." I went and parked my car, and went inside and requested a manager, and the same lady was like yup, she's right here. The manager was busy, and I understand. I simply told her that if her customer service was rude she would be better off if she was avoiding customers. Working the back of the store. The manager then avoided that idea and just defended her and used the excuses of "she's old" or she can only do so much, or you can only stand so much before you get burnt out. I don't want food. I don't want money. Alike a lot of others, you've lost my business. Worst experience ever. Would rate negative stars...
Read moreDon’t waste your time waiting in line for 30 minutes on a Sunday. The giant sign that says they serve breakfast until 12 on the weekends is only valid if the staff feels like it. I got in line at 10:12 am and didn’t get to order until about 10:31. No problem, they’re probably busy, I get it. The car in-front of me pulled off after trying to order, but I couldn’t hear why. I thought it was weird, but pulled up to order myself.
The menu was all still showing all breakfast, so I asked for biscuits and gravy first. The girl taking my order started laughing and said “uhmmmmm we don’t have biscuits and gravy” as if I am from another planet by asking for this, while I’m staring right at it on the menu in-front of me? I asked if they were just out of B&G but have other breakfast items available, and then the menu just turns off. It’s silent but then someone’s mic came on and it just sounded like a pack of hyenas laughing. Then a voice comes over the speaker and says “EXCUSE ME CAN I TAKE YOUR ORDER!!!” as if I am intentionally holding up the ordering line on purpose?
I just left without ordering, because I didn’t want a cold sandwich someone spit in. Sorry to bother you by trying to buy breakfast, Newburgh Hardee’s. Don’t worry, I’ll...
Read moreAlthough they were busy, they were working very hard to get everyone served in the shortest amount of time. I ordered a sausage egg biscuit. As always, the sausage was spot-on, but, as becoming more frequent, the biscuit was leaning toward the over baked side and just a little hard and not very flaky. I have taken a few back in the last few weeks, and they give me a fresher one. The dining area faces East, and in the morning as the sun is coming up, it is blinding me as I try and eat my breakfast. Shades need to be added to those windows along the east side. 3/2/2025 edit: After continually finding no improvement in their biscuits being over baked, I decided to drive to the next closer Hardee’s (Covert Ave, just west of Green River Rd). Upon first bite of my biscuit I was immediately rewarded by a perfectly baked biscuit. It was soft, flaky and delicious. Upon finishing my biscuit sandwich, I had decided that this Hardee’s location was my new favorite and Newburgh was dropped from my...
