We were in town for a wedding and the bride & company ate lunch here the day before - we had great food, drinks, and service by a wonderful waitress. We told her that we were planning to come back the following night after the wedding was over with the entire wedding party. They told us they would be waiting for the bride & groom with champagne and a cool champagne display (something involving fire?!) which was so nice.

The following we showed up with 40+ guests and had a great time until I inquired with the manager about the champagne display we were promised the day before and he was extremely rude to me. He told me that no one requested it to management (as if I had any control over that) and that they typically only do the toast for 21st birthdays and not for brides (they actually did one in front of us for a group of 21-year-old's).

The manager was cocky, disrespectful, and acted like I was bothering him by inquiring about something we were promised. We immediately got our entire group to vacate Twisted Jimmy's and head to a bar with nicer management.

7 years ago: Best service and one of the cleanest bars on Philly st. Half off all drinks 10-midnight. Best Sports bar in Indiana. Great beer selection. Get a Rum Crush

Update: How the mighty have fallen. The atmosphere of the new TJ's is bleak. It feels like they don't want you there. I'm not quite sure what type of bar they're trying to be now, but it has gone from my favorite place to somewhere I'd be okay never passing through the door again. It's sad, Al Patties might be your best bet on...

Great drinks and atmosphere for a college bar experience. Music choices can be odd in a great way, friends always get a laugh out from time to time. Tuesdays and Thursdays have the best deals, $2 buckets after 10PM, and George is the best bartender in town hands down.
