You have lowered your standards and I truly hope you find them again. I grew up using your French Onion Soup and Spinach Artichoke dip as a basis of comparison for all others to measured against. Yesterday my dip was 90% cream cheese, had half the pita bread, and the French onion was only half full with one tiny square of bread. We waited 15 minutes for water, another 15 for menus (which I finally got from the bar), several times we had to ask the waitress for things that we had already requested (dressing, napkins, beverage refills, etc) and they werent busy in the slightest. After waiting almost an hour our waitress set her try on the table and the entire thing up dumped onto the floor (mistakes happen, no big deal). But after waiting another 30 minutes for our orders to be remade, my wife's grilled chicken salad had the entire iceberg lettuce heart in it and the chicken was overcooked. Another in our group ordered a large salad and received a bed of flat, torn up iceberg with a cold, over cooked chicken strip on top for $9. After all of this at no point did a manager, or anyone for that matter, come over to apologize. I've never written a review before, but our experience was simply too much. Between the four of us our meal was $118. Never...

I would consider returning for appetizers and beer at some point, but not for dinner. Nice atmosphere and good service, and our mushroom appetizer was yummy although it was listed as "breaded" and came to us "battered." I read the description of the grilled chicken salad and for some reason ordered it anyway. When it came, it had tiny cubes of chicken, two small wedges of tomato, grilled onions and mushrooms and lots of lettuce. It was a disconcerting mix of sautéed and raw veggies. My husband's stromboli was billed as having pepperoni but looked primarily like a grilled cheese sandwich cut in pie shapes. Someone from here should go to Brunzies down the street and order their stromboli. I understand places are short staffed right now, and maybe they are making do with someone who is not experienced. I can only speculate, and certainly two unsatisfactory entrees should not damn the entire menu. I'm just suggesting avoiding the grilled chicken salad and pepperoni stromboli. But again, nice atmosphere and friendly, prompt service....

The exterior said little of what was inside. A limited menu and very few tap beers. The barmaid was more concerned about her nails and cleaning out her eyes than taking orders and being cordial. Our server was pleasant, a redeeming quality because the food was mediocre. We ordered a portobello sandwich and it was the smallest I have ever seen! I ordered a steak salad which had chunks or chewy meat and fries that were soggy and barely cooked but still inedible. Very little to no dressing.
