Potbelly — Restaurant in Indianapolis

Awful experience. Not mad about a place being busy, but they aren't equipped for it. Standing in line on top of each other,people with food trying to get to tables. Then when we finally got up to order, I am told they are out of bacon! It was 1:30 in the afternoon how do you run out of bacon. A sign or an announcement would have been appreciated but since I waited all that time I wasn't in the mood for something else. Then my wife ordered a.pri.e rib and the lady made a pulled pork. So we had to wait again. No apologies or anything. Then the guy who was preparing the sandwiches asked how our day was going. I replied it was lousy and he laughed about it despite no humor in my tone. Just a complete disaster and...

Not a ‘well-oiled’ machine, especially for a first visit. Went in for 3 bowls of soup to go. There were 3 people placing an order in front of me, can’t figure out what took so long for them to get their food. There was miscommunication, from what the girl at the counter said, between the employees so she began making my order again after the first person had already made them. Got home to find one of the bowls of soup to be only half full and none of them were hot.

I’d rather get Panera soup so no...

Unfortunately this location has a lot of kinks to work out. Our first trip was great and we were excited to try it again. We placed an order online and when we showed up to pick it up they told us they were out of a bunch of stuff so they had to cancel and remake our online order. The whole process took 1.5 hours. They were completely out of multiple things- most notably was white bread?? Not sure I’ll try again after...
