Denny's — Restaurant in Indianapolis

My husband and two granddaughters went here last Saturday..Early afternoon..They didn't seem to busy..We have never been to this Dennys. We usually go to the one by our house and for the most part get good food and good service.However, since we was going to the movies..We decided to eat at this location..It started out ok..My husband ordered the country fried steak dinner.So did one of my granddaughters.The other ordered off the kids menu.She ordered chocolate pancakes, all bacon, scrambled eggs..I ordered a single cheeseburger with American cheese, tomatoes, pickles ,mayo.and extra mayo on the side..With that I wanted the loaded potatoes minus the holophinos. Well we got our drinks..ok..Long wait for our food..but that was ok.We had time to kill..The food started coming out..and My husband and granddaughter got there bread..Then she got her food..The other granddaughter got her food..and that's it and waiters left..We had no silver wear..couldn't eat..no syrup ..She came back with my husbands food..and Mine..His was ok..Mine was wrong..it had tomatoes and onions and no mayo..and the potatoes was wrong..Now she did see I wasn't happy..and asked to redo my food..I was like no by the time I get new food..my family will be done.So I was like can you just bring me pickles and may..My husband was like we need silverware.So instead of finishing the task..She goes to help others..and brought out some of the stuff..no mayo..So my husband asked again..She said she would bring it..then helped others..while waiting..my husband found eggs in his gravy..something was wrong with my other granddaughters mashed potatoes..and the other granddaughter said her food was gross..she ate her eggs..bacon was half cooked..pancakes where rubbery..even my husband had trouble cutting them..and said they was nasty..So on return for the 3rd time..we asked for the mayo..She her response was so nasty..I was no mad..she she was rude and raised he voice..after that my husband made a decision that he wasn't going to leave a tip..mast Nasty food..the worst service..incorrect food..I will never go back..I have never not left a tip..that's how...

I went in around 2:25a this morning. I had gotten out of my car and was walking towards the door and the hostess/ waitress was outside and visibly looked annoyed and went back inside. To me this wasnt a big deal but I was wondering how the rest of this was going to go. I go in and she literally looks like shes upset that I came in at all. She angrily grabbed the menu and silverware. I made eye contact with the only other people there looking kind of like whats going on? She slammed my menu and silverware on the table. I don't understand why I was getting treated this way for just simply coming into an open restaurant. I should've left but it was late and I really just wanted some breakfast. Now it did also take a little long to get my food considering I was the only one in there at that point. When my food came she brought an extra drink which I appreciated. She went outside to her car for about 15min or so which didn't bother me, but after my food came I wasn't checked on at all. I was visibly finished for awhile but I wasn't sure what to do as I didn't even know where she was. My ticket was put in at 2:29a and I literally didnt leave until 3:24a I waited almost half an hour to get my check and almost 10minutes standing at the counter to pay. I almost walked out without paying, which many people I knew told me to do because it was ridiculous. This is the worst service I have gotten from anywhere. I guess I know to only go to the one further...

Two stars for the wifi and air-conditioning, one star for my first visit to the Greenwood location in Indiana. My first visit was pleasant I dined in and carried out 10% tip , the T Bone was tuff but it happens 🤷‍♀️. My second visit a couple days I walked in and you'll never believe I some how became invisible 😮. Although only two tables in use at the end of their visit , three waitresses I was undetectable , I waited at the door til my knees started complaining then I asked if I should seat my self and all of a sudden I was visible after all that time, it was a miracle!! ikr. The worker seemed to maybe be team lead but must have really been busy because she told the dish washer to seat me so I'm over the delay ready to order right? Nope I became completely invisible again 🧐 All jokes aside I was invisible for about twenty more minutes without even a drink nor a glance since I was seated soooo I made the manager aware, and that was ackward because you'd think I was barking like a poodle vs speaking clear verbiage of my experience smh A minute later a waitress came over pleasant , I ordered a drink to go though and left because even though most of us have thought how fun being invisible could be, it sucks when your a "guest" and a hungry one at that and are seemingly invisible entering an establishment ...
