I was their first customer on good friday many years ago. I co.sider the owner a friend. Great food! The homemade red tomato sauce and green tomato sauce served at your table us the best in the city. Most of the south american customers are seen getting g the tortas (sandwiches). I get the posole which is on the weekend only menu and the "traditional" tacos; two corn tortillas your choice of meat with cilantro, onion, and on the side fresh limes. The bakery, fresh dopped ice cream treats make this place unique. The horchata is delicious. If you haven't tried made in Mexico coca cola yet, try it- made with pure sugar instead...

Tried this place out partially because of the great reviews. Easily one of the worst Mexican places in the city. Esquites were bland with very little seasoning or cojita. Grande burrito was medium sized at best. Chicken had absolutely no flavor. Rice tasted like La Gardia boxed rice. Fried quesidilla tasted good but was very small, size of a taco bell soft taco for $11 with rice it was absolutely not worth it. Mango aqua Fresca tasted like powdered drink mix. Ordered 2 burritos. One was asada (steak) and the other al pastor (marinated pork) and was not impressed. Very small meat portion, and it al pastor tasted like it was a few days old and with a lot of pork fat. They might aswell had given me a meatless burrito.
