On Monday 10/17, I placed an order around 8:30 for two meals of burgers and fries. This meal was my late night birthday dinner as well. So I was really looking forward to it as their food is excellent! I arrived at the restaurant around 8:45. The restaurant closes at 9.
When I arrived, I let the associate know I was picking up an order. The associate came back out and said “don’t hate me, but we’ve already closed the grills down and cannot make your order.” He asked me if I wanted something else and I said no thank you. When coming to an award winning burger place, I wanted a burger.
He kept saying “don’t hate me” and I asked for a refund. I did not get the associate’s name.
I do not think it is best practice to close the grills down almost 30 minutes prior to closing. I did not receive a call letting me know that they would be unable to complete my order either, so I drove all that way just to be told my order couldn’t be completed.
Additionally, I was not offered anything for a future visit as a consolation.
If I were a small business owner, and knew I was in the wrong, I would immediately offer that meal free to keep that customer for a future visit. Because, as I mentioned, I love the food hence why I ordered it as my late night birthday dinner!
So, I called today 10/19 and spoke with the manager about the incident. The manager was completely unhelpful. They said we know we were in the wrong, but we had been slow that day and justified closing everything down early. They also did not offer anything free for my time only kept saying they were slow that day and wanted to close everything down early.
I was hoping calling today and speaking to a manager would make me feel better about this business and the situation that happened, but the opposite has occurred.
As much as I love this restaurant, I will not be returning. I went through all that work on my birthday and to be told over and over not to hate the associate and then to have called the manager and essentially be told that they were justified in closing early because it was a slow day. And after all of this not even getting a free meal for all my trouble.
I will always go out of my way to support small businesses, but if they won’t do the same to obtain their customers, that is NOT a business I want to support.
I’m pretty disappointed to be writing this review, but I feel the ownership should be aware of the types of employees that are running their business and causing them to lose...

I've eaten a lot of burgers, and you probably have too. Some burgers are un-flavorful, some are dry, some are small, and MANY are overpriced. The burger at Flamme Burger is none of those things - it is the best burger I've ever had, and I'll bet it'll be one of the best burgers you've ever had as well.
The restaurant is inconspicuously placed in a shopping esplanade (fortunately, that means ample parking), but don't let that deter you from the best burger experience you've ever had. Flamme burger has that kind of fast-casual, slightly gentrified vibe that you'd expect from a nice burger joint like this - the inside is clean and has a new-age sports bar feel to it.
On to the main reason you came, the burger. Now I will admit, the burger is on the higher end of what I'd like to pay for one (like $10+ not including fries) but for the quality of burger you get it is well worth this cost. I ordered the Flamme Burger, their award-winning burger, and this thing is magnificent. this burger is absolutely delicious and packed with juice, spice and amazing flavor. You can tell that you are eating something that is fresh & made out of quality meat, and it has a fantastic smoky flavor to it. They plate it on neat wooden boards, and the burger itself also looks fantastic.
It's hard to describe how good this burger is, but as a personal opinion this burger is as good as it gets. It far outclasses the tastes of Bru Burger Bar, Five Guys, Steak & Shake etc.
This burger is worth making a trip across...
Read moreOh, dear gastronomes and epicureans of the highest order, I beseech you to hearken unto my tale of culinary delight, a veritable epicurean odyssey, at the unassuming but vivaciously victorious Flameb
Upon entering this paragon of burgerdom, I was enveloped in a symphony of sizzling and the tantalizing aroma of charred bovine goodness. The ebullient staff, donning their aprons like knights of old, greeted me with camaraderie and bonhomie, the likes of which is seldom encountered in our quotidian existence.
The menu - ah, the menu! - a veritable treasure trove of ambrosial options, each more delectable than the last. I chose, with great trepidation, the eponymous Flammebu rger. And, dear readers, that momentous decision shall forever be etched upon my gustatory memory as one of sheer felicity.
The burger, a harmonious mélange of flavors and textures, was a triumph of gastronomic proportions. The patty, expertly seasoned and cooked to the Platonic ideal of medium-rare, veritably danced upon my taste buds, a Bacchanalian festival of umami delight. The lettuce and tomato, fresh and vibrant, provided a crisp counterpoint, while the sauce, a mysterious elixir of the gods, brought it all together in a rhapsody of culinary perfection.
In sum, my dear epicurean enthusiasts, Flamme burger is a beacon of burger brilliance, a shining star in the firmament of casual dining. The staff's unwavering warmth and conviviality only serve to enhance the experience, making it an absolute must for all those in pursuit of the sublime and the...
