This was our first time to visit this chain restaurant that has a nice menu for breakfast/brunch/lunch. The food was really good - between three of us we ordered fluffy pancakes, thin pancakes, eggs, home fries, hash browns, and a sandwich. The only negative thing I can say is that while my hash browns were good, they were just a little dry. Everything else was great. I had a Turkey Club sandwich which was tasty. Nice balance of turkey, bacon, spinach, cheese, and pesto aioli sauce. Next time I'll get the home fries instead of hash browns, and that will make a perfect lunch. The pancakes were fantastic, especially the fluffy Dutch Baby pancake made in a cast iron skillet and the thin King Cakes weren't as thin as a crepe and really good.
The restaurant was bright and the servers friendly. We got exactly what we ordered and while it was a bit pricey for what it was, the plate portions were good sized. Our bill was just over $60 for three of us. That also included drinks. I got Amber juice, a blend of pineapple, honeydew, ginger, and cucumber juice which was pretty good, for $6.
There is a variety of menu items so we will be back at some point and try something new. There's a lot of breakfast/brunch type places in Indy and I always rate relative to other similar restaurants in the area. A Solid 4.5 rating that gets rounded down to 4 stars on Google's...
Read moreI haven't been here for awhile and thought it was the old reliable but was very disappointed and will not be going back. The bacon was low quality and I also heard another customer complain that it tasted like rubber. The potatoes were not hot enough. The orange juice on the menu is advertised as "fresh squeezed" and on prior visits, I would attest to that but today it was clearly in my opinion from concentrate. I questioned the waitress to try to clear it up and she said it was fresh squeezed; however, they don't fresh squeeze there.....Hmmm... The clencher was paying the bill and the hostess asked "How was everything?" and the response was "it was "ok", the food was cold" and her response: I'm sorry". We also were sorry that we wasted our Sunday morning time and money on a crappy experience. If you can't train your staff to properly handle customer feedback than don't have them ask how your visit was because it is irritating sends a clear message that the establishment does not care. All of this when the place had few patrons and given today's experience, I understood why.
I give the visit two stars because my eggs were cooked to order and the...
Read moreHorrible customer service!!! Today my mom and I came for brunch. She is a senior, so due to Covid she doesn't get out much. We were looking forward to brunch. We had to wait almost 30 minutes to be seated. Mind you there were available tables. While we waited we there was a mexican waitress that kept ignoring that we were there. Actually passing by us multiple times. Finally, another waitress who was serving a large party came to seat us. We understood she was busy, but noticed the mexican waitress kept walking pass us without acknowledging us. So, again we waited. We observed that same mexican waitress seat a party of four caucasian women quickly who came after us and immediately took their order. To add insult to injury she then assisted another caucasian lady. The waitress who was helping the large party was cordial. She saw what was occurring so she came to help us, but by then we decided this was not where we would like to eat. An hour of our time wasted without even being given a glass of water. Needless to say, we will not be back again and we have passed this along to as many people that we know in our family and friend circle not to support...
