People also ask:
Is Greenleaf juice truly raw or artificially treated?
Their juice is truly raw (not treated with heat or pressure to create an artificially extended shelf-life), meaning 100% of the vitamins, minerals, enzymes and micronutrients remain intact. They press it freshly every day for you rather than create an unnatural, month-long (or more) shelf life.
Why can't I find Greenleaf juice in stores?
As mentioned above, they don’t artificially extend the shelf-life of our products. Products in stores have been high-pressurized, heated or processed to extend the shelf-life. This treatment kills a lot of the essential vitamins, minerals, enzymes and micronutrients in the food. Their products are truly fresh. Real food and beverages don’t last for weeks on a shelf. That’s why their product can’t be found in stores.
Why should I drink organic Juice?
They believe organic juice should be a consistent part of everyones diet – part of the grocery list – not just an occasional indulgence. Why? 87% of Americans don’t eat the daily recommended serving of fruits and 91% don’t eat the daily recommended serving of vegetables (U.S. CDC). Fruits, vegetables and other plant-based ingredients are essential sources of nutrition our bodies need. They’re the foundation found at the bottom of the food pyramid. Their goal is to create the best juice in the world because it help make healthy easier for everyone. Plus, it’s delicious and makes you feel good. 🙂

Read moreI ordered the Pacific bowl. It looked beautiful and healthy. The customer service was great and the women working were very friendly and kind. The sauce for the pacific was so sour it tasted like straight lemon juice or vinegar. I only poured a small amount on- 1/4th of the little container and it was too much. I asked about what other sauces they have and got the basil garlic one hoping it might taste better, as it sounded the least acidic of all of the other sauce options. Again, I tasted it first and only poured a little bit on to a different section. Unfortunately the garlic Basil one is also very very sour. I could taste the garlic and Basil, so that part of the flavor profile was lovely, but the sourness was not pleasant. I’d recommend using a different base or less vinegar in your dressings so you have a larger spectrum and variety in sauces. Not a lot of people like heavy sour flavor. I had to take my bowl home and rinse it and pour one of my own homemade vegan sauces on to finish the bowl and not waste it. If you don’t like the same experience as biting into a lemon, then I do not recommend getting a grain bowl at this time. Aside from the sauce, everything was wonderful! The bowl has a nice balance of veggies, spinach, beans, and grains. I didn’t try admitting else yet but am willing to give an açaí bowl a try next time before I abandon...
Read moreGreenleaf is a cafe with juices, smoothies, oatmeals and similar vegan food options. The style is very eco-friendly from non-plastic straws and utensils to cashless payments. The flavour and ingredients are very health conscious.
My banana coconut oatmeal included pure maple, cacao nibs, and many other healthful ingredients (with a sign on the wall explaining the health benefits) while my golden latte included turmeric, cashew milk and many other unusual ingredients.
Everything is gluten-free and vegan AND expensive! A small bowl of oatmeal and two drinks added up to about $30. And while I don't challenge the healthful properties of the meal, I personally didn't think that it tasted all that great.
The staff was pretty efficient but not very friendly especially as we waded into the unfamiliar waters of a complicated menu.
To be honest, I probably will not be back
Pro Tip: Cash payments are not accepted....
