There were two cars in the drive through that had already ordered their food, after waiting a moment a man said he'd be with us momentarily, which was fine. However, I am pregnant and decided after waiting there a few that we should just go inside so I could use the restroom too and save an extra stop on the way to work. To my surprise the restrooms were locked and required a token from the cashier. Which was odd and a bit sad and annoyed but ok so my husband and I got in to order and get the token. There was an elderly couple at the counter that required some extra help again I don't mind but also by this point after walking through the freezing rain to get inside I felt like my bladder was going to pop, and was starting to be in significant pain. But patiently we waited. Then a woman explained they'd be right with us (I must have shown my discomfort on my face) and I tried to tell her I really need to use the restroom and I was wanting to place an order but they have signs that say you can't have the token until you have I paid for something so she put my order in on another computer and took the money for the order then she disappeared without bringing the change back nor a token until the food was ready and I still had to ask again for the token. Finally!! I got the darn thing but the door was locked or broken in a way that the coin wouldn't go in so I ended up using the men's bathroom and let me say this it was disgusting. You would think a bathroom that is so darn hard to access would at least be clean. Not at all. So I get to the truck and started to eat my breakfast only to find that it's hardly Luke warm and the gravy was like water with an almost complete sausage patty in it 😒 it was just nasty the hash rounds were nasty cold. I used to go to Hardee's with my Father and my grandparents and would always have the biscuits and gravy, this morning I was craving that and was happy to see there was a Hardee's on my way. But stopping here not only made me run behind when I should have had plenty of time to spare but also almost caused me to p!ss my pants. Then to have nasty food after all the bs was just confirmation, this is by far the WORST HARDEE'S AROUND THE INDIANAPOLIS AREA!! We...

Read moreI visited this place in the 11am hour 2.11.19. The cashier was very polite- my elder...old enough to be my mama. When I came through the drive-thru, I was playing Tamela Mann's gospel song, 'Take Me to the King.' The cashier heard it, smiled & said, ' I needed to hear that.' I smiled. She handed me my food and I went on my way. I thought to myself that we never know what one is going through in his/her day to day life. Many of us are out here tryna make a dollar out of 15 cents-busting our behinds to pay the bills, put food on the table, take care of the kids and pay for a lil piece of mind (whatever form that may be in). To know that there are people who can persevere (especially during these trying Trump times) & still manage to put a smile on their faces despite what life has thrown them is encouraging within itself. To all the blue collar workers who (namely, the ones in fast food) get up to make sure that the rest of America can get fed & do it w/ a positive attitude: THANK YOU & may your pockets never...
