INEXCUSABLE....I arrived in the late afternoon/ early evening on a week day (Wednesday), to a drive through line wrapped around the building...choose to order instead inside and get it to go. Waited over 15 minutes to get anyone to acknowledge me at the front counter, lobby was relatively quiet and empty aside from 2 tables with eat in customers, and a female employee who was on a break. When I was finally acknowledged, the girl (described later in this review whose nametag was handwritten and unreadable), told me to use the kiosk to order and pay for my meal. I felt a bit put off by that, (but as suggested)...I went to the kiosk to order and pay for my meal and had difficulty with it. A female employee (who was on a break), explained that it didn't work, and I would have to use another. The card reader wouldn't work on the other one that I tried, so I again went to the front counter for a cashier to assist me with my order. I got the same girl from earlier, who seemed irritated to have to take my order and payment at the register. I asked for a chicken select meal, and wanted to wait for freshly cooked selects (as the first ones she handed me were hard and obviously been setting awhile). After waiting for an additional 15 to 20 minutes to get my food I went to eat and found the selects I was given were still warm and hard, NOT made fresh. I went back to the counter and asked for a manager, the cashier said that she was busy and I had to wait. Between the time I arrived, waited for a cashier, fooled with the kiosk, and waited on freshly made food only to get what had been previously made and had hardened and cooled off, I had been inside the facility for 40 minutes, and was now being forced to wait for a manager, who was unavailable, and to get a frustrated and irritated cashier (a young, slightly chubby, blondish hair, and glasses), who was less than professional or sympathetic to my situation, said NOTHING to manager on duty as I stood there and watched and waited, for a resolution to the issues that I had experienced. Irritated, upset, and frustrated having now been inside the facility for 50 minutes...I walked out without a refund, or a replacement, and I will NOT be back there again. I was with McDonald's for 23 years, and worked my way up to a 1st assistant manager, so I know that this experience was inexcusable, and intolerable, and have contacted the franchise owner about the matter. My friend has a kid working day shift there, and he openly admits that the staff and management on late day and nights leave a lot to be desired. Interestingly enough...after reaching out to try to contact the franchise owner, I haven't heard anything back. McDonald's is clearly NOT the McDonald's we grew up with anymore, in a few years time with technology....I can see McDonald's products in a vending machine and the restaurants gone. They've eliminated the personal touch, the warm customer service and experience that was a part of the McDonald's market in the past, its merely a shadow of what it once was. I am glad that I was a part of it when it was still focused on the core values and principles that it was founded on...it isn't that way anymore. It's a shadow of it's former days, an empty lifeless shell, compared to what they were from the 50's into the early...
Read moreWent to get dinner and set in the drive thru for over 30 minutes because the drive thru was packed. I had ordered my wife a Quarter Pounder with Cheese and ( NO ONION ) and specifically told them ( NO ONION ) because she is highly allergic to onions. So then I ordered myself the same thing but got mine with ( NO KETCHUP ). Then I ordered our dog a ( PLAIN CHEESEBURGER ). I usually double check our orders and the one time I didn't. I get all the way home and our order is completely screwed up. So I seriously told them NO ONION on the one Quarter Pounder with cheese and that my wife is highly allergic to Onions and the freaking sandwich had Onions On It. My Quarter Pounder with Cheese was supposed to be No Ketchup and the sandwich was covered in Ketchup. The Cheeseburger PLAIN definitely wasn't Plain. It had EVERYTHING On It. It's a 30 minute drive to get there and 30 more minutes to get home. So I called them and the phone rang about 10 to 15 time's and then a lady finally answered the phone and didn't get a Hello, she says what did you say. So I proceeded to tell her the problem. She says you need to bring the whole order back. We'll it's already going on 1 o'clock in the morning and I have to be at work at 8 o'clock in the morning and it takes 30 minutes to get there. She said well then I can't help you. Seriously where do they get these sooo called manager's that are kid's at cause they are very rude and all you see them doing is playing around with the other people they work with. They can't even get your order's right. There wasn't even a Sorry from the girl who said she was the manager. My wife is seriously highly allergic to Onions and not even a SORRY. I seriously hope that Corporate gets to see this and not the little kids who claim to be a manager. If my wife would have taken a bite out of her sandwich that was supposed to be no onion it would have caused her to be rushed to the emergency room. Somebody would have me to answer to. So if you go to the McDonald's on South Keystone don't pull away from the drive thru window until you have checked your...
Read moreOrdered 3 Big Macs, a large fry, two 10 piece Mcnuggets, and large coke. I got home and realized I didn't get my two Big Macs and my fries were half full. The coke tasted awful. I go back. I was nice about at first as I understand people make mistakes. I know working fast food is a hard job. However, I became upset when both the manager and the front counter lady accused me of eating the food and lying about not receiving my two Big Macs and the other half of my fries. What is the point in lying? The front counter person was extremely accusatory and had zero customer service skills at all. She was talking to other co-workers about me Infront of the me like I wasn't there. The manager should not be a manager. Apparently she has been a manager there for a year and half and not her first time being a manager. She needs management classes and learn how to deal upset customers. Two other customers came back in from getting their food from the Drive Thru because they didn't receive all their food. And I was lying about my order? Finally after rationalizing with the manager that it's completely absurd and pointless for me to come home, eat two Big Macs and half my fries and go back to get two more, she agreed to make my food. But she only gave me two Big Macs I didn't receive. At this point, I wanted my whole order replaced since 1. They accused me of lying 2. They were extremely rude 3. I just spent 20 minutes trying to get them to fix my order. And now my other food is now cold. After they refuse to replace my entire order, I asked for a full refund. Which I got but with no apology for my inconvenience. I never even bothered with the coke since it was a hassle to get the order corrected. I hated being a Karen. But seriously, it wasn't that they made a mistake but the refusal to fix the issue and accusing me of lying. That really...
