By far the worst experience I've ever had at any pizza place ever.
My experience starts with a phone call to place a take out order. Which I later found out the employee that took the order was named Robert. He took my order and was pleasant on the phone. He told us 20-30 min then hung up. (Little did I know that he didn't place the order correctly.)
When I arrived at the traders point store we were helped by a manager that was on duty. We told him our name and he went to get our order to find out that the order was not completed. He went to get the rest of our order which was apparently the entire order. He read back our order to us and we then learned that our order was taken incorrectly. (Robert please read back the order in the future to avoid this issue again.) We ordered a pizza with a few less topping on half. We got a whole pizza minus one topping. (At this point the manager put the bread sticks in the oven.) We told him that to remake the whole pizza would take to long and not to worry about it we can just pick off what we dont like. Our tortellini which we ordered supreme and added meatballs didn't have meatballs. I told the manager that our whole order was incorrect and then he argued that it was correct per the order slip that he had in his hand. He then refused to fix the problem to make any kind of solutions. So we placed the order for the meatballs to put them in the tortellini ourselves.
So tally: so far is pizza and tortellini That we ordered is wrong.
He started to get our salad and he grabbed all the wrong dressings. Again a order taking issue. But easily fixed.
We also learned that our 2 liter drink that we were told that came with our family pleaser was an extra charge.
So at this point I told the manager that he should be glad that we weren't secret shoppers. Because of the way we were treated and also what was happening in the back. I informed the manager that one of the guys making pizza was eating on the line while making food. And that's a health code violation. He did nothing about this. I also noticed that no one front or back of house had washed their hands the entire time I was there. Servers were bringing out food after being on their phones and just in general touching their face and fixing their hair. Some were also cleaning and not washing their hands before returning back to work.
So to sum up this store had a manager problem. When asked even the employees agreed and told me it was the managers last day and they were glad, even shared that he was transferring to the Avon store. Which I will never go to now. At the end the manager was so oblivious that he only charged us for the meat balls ($5.45) And didn't give us a copy of the receipt. So we got a whole family pleaser plus extras for 5 bucks. Not complaining just figured that the GM of this store would like to know this guy is costing him money and the future GM over at Avon that he will probably do the same.
So if you want to have a screwed up order and people that are in violation of health codes making your food. This is the pizza place for you! Otherwise I would advise going...
Read moreWent to this store on Mothers day May 11th. 2 1/2 weeks after a major surgery. Felt great before I stepped into the establishment. Almost no pain from surgery at all! Held the door for my wife and I stepped in the door slammed shut on me. Of course right into the 5 incisions on my right side. Reported to manager. Seemed like she could care less. She blamed it on wind causing it. Long story short, we had terrible service. I could and would have had medical attention if she had offered. I was in so much pain I was in a shock like state of mind. The manager did not make any attempts to check on me while we were there. I should have called an ambulance but couldn't think straight. I'm 2 days past this incident. I've called corporate and if spoke to a part owner. Oh the manager checked us out at the register and did t even attempt to have me fill out an incident report. Not did I receive a discount which after the poor treatment I received ,I would have refused. I have called my medical insurance ( I'm a senior citizen) called my surgeon and know what to look for as to complications to my surgery and 2 have occured which may need follow up. I also reached out to a couple attorneys and will make some decisions on the situation. You get hurt there- the manager doesn't care. Don't take a chance. Stay away from this store and help support my claim that they have been negligent in my treatment and eat elsewhere. I usually don't leave this negative of a review but I have to give them one or less stars for their inconsiderate ways of doing business. I have not heard from their insurance company but I was assured by mine that they will hear from mine if I have surgical or I ternal damage. Have interviewed 2 attorneys and will take...
Read moreI ordered delivery today but changed my mind so I called to change to pickup. Spoke with someone who changed to pickup and said they would start on it. This was at 3:35. I asked if I was going to get my $5 tip and delivery fee back and he said “I don’t know “.
So I wait 15- 20 minutes and head to the location. There were A couple of tables occupied but nothing major. I told the guy at the front desk I was there to pick up my order and he told me they were still working on it. I asked how long it would take and he told me it would be about 10 minutes. No problem!
I waited 15 minutes and saw no orders being brought up so I went across the street. I came back a short time later and stood in the front for another 20-25 minutes. There were plenty of employees that didn’t really seem to want to put this order together. People were standing around and looking at their phones. (Someone who is handling food should probably not be using their phone within eye shot of customers. Phones are incredibly dirty!) I did notice that half my order sat under the heater for probably 20 minutes And there was a shift change or something, so the young man that was helping me left and I stood there longer.
I shouldn’t have to remind someone, who I’m standing right in front of, I am waiting on an order. There has to be some sort of training involved with these positions. I would seriously suggest you implement that. By the time I got back home, half the food was cold.
Going to this location was always a good experience but today it seemed like some were completely disinterested in doing their job. I would like for someone to reach out to me and tell me how I can get the tip money back that I paid, the tip money, which no...
