Update 9/22/24 I ordered fish chicken dinner and I wanted it very crispy. I do not like soft fried foods. It was late and I just traveled so I was really tired. I realized when I got toy destination the food was not how I wanted it. I called and a guy Name Malek answered he was so polite and apologetic. He told me they would make it right when I returned being that I couldn't come back same night. When I returned they were very apologetic and made sure to give exactly what I desired. That was great servicesny establishments will be condescending and rude with no accountability of not giving the customer what they ordered. That was not the case my family loved thos place and I have shared this place with so many people because of the great service and THE AMAIZING FOOD!! They are u feel like home. This is by far the worst food that I’ve had in this city in my whole entire life no cap! Everything is flavorless. I had a lamb meat and cheeseburger sandwich. I had to ask for seasoning salt and literally drench it. They don’t even salt the fries smh. I paid over ten dollars for a small catfish fillet and they split my filet in half! Smh not two pieces of fish like everywhere else no they split it in half! And it had no seasoning on the fish. My friend is from Chicago and she said they normally dip the sandwich she has but they didn’t and they gave her a little meat. It’s just not worth the price we paid. I legit felt robbed of my hard earned money! And I cleaned up the tables and trays lying around because we were there for a hour and they were there upon our arrival. He did thank me. The hubbs and I had eaten a very early dinner at another restaraunt earlier in the night and didn't eat much because we were less than impressed with the food, so by 9 or so we were starving for something decent to eat. I searched several places close to our hotel and we decided on this place. We almost didn't go in because it looks a little on the run down side but man am I glad we went ahead and went in. We grabbed it to go and went back to the hotel and were pleasantly surprised with how good the food was. We had a hard time deciding what to eat because the menu is MASSIVE. Any time I go to a restaraunt that serves 3 or 4 different types of foods I'm always hesitant but the gyros, fries, and spinach pie were to die for! The chocolate cake was pretty good heated in the microwave and the hubbs loved the baklava. I'd definitely eat here again if ever...
